Hi there. I came over from the Lifehousemusic.com boards after hearing about how nice it is on the the B-Sides forum from you guys. So, today is my first day. I think I already recognize a lot of your usernames from over there. I can't wait to start reading. And, in regards to the nasty posts over there, the one thing it did accomplish is uniting other fans in their dislike of that kind of -- what's the word -- oh yeah, CRAP!

Whoa, I've only been gone for like a week and I've missed so much  What's this about someone abusing Koen? Welcome, Skrappydoo. I do like your nickname  I released my fat goldfish into the school pond, I hope he'll be ohkay. We suspect I have some form of hypopituitarism. I'm displaying a few of the classic symptoms: fatigue, amenorrhea (lighter/missed periods), central obesity (despite the fact that I've been eating basically nothing), impaired attention and memory, weight loss, hair loss, slow heart rate and low blood pressure. We suspect I have some form of hypopituitarism. I'm displaying a few of the classic symptoms: fatigue, amenorrhea (lighter/missed periods), central obesity (despite the fact that I've been eating basically nothing), impaired attention and memory, weight loss, hair loss, slow heart rate and low blood pressure. Ick those are also all symptoms of a thyroid disorder, you may have some form of hypothyroidism. you can have a doc order a simple blood test to check your levels of TSH and T3/T4. i have loads of experience with thyroid issues, if you have any questions let me know |

i also like your name skrappydoo! and welcome indeed.
i just got back to san diego after being home for thanksgiving, and as much as i love home..im kinda glad to be back. even though i have have finals next week! oh man.. this is going to be horrible. i even have a 10 page essay to write due very very shortly.
also i got my hair cut! though it looks exactly the same and only i can tell the difference probably...
and now, i must finish watching the chargers game (sigh) and head to work (double sigh).

so this friday i have two midterm, ten minutes apart, all the way across campus. should be horrible. because of them i am neglecting homework in other classes and hardly even studying for one so as to ace the other.. should turn out interesting especially since i have school in an hour until 9, and then school followed by work tomorrow so who knows when ill actually get time to study. looks like an all-nighter is in my future. OK, I'm new to these boards, so this have probably already been covered, but were you in the Lifehouse video? When I saw your picture, I instantly recognized you from the video. I was not involved in the video except voyeuristically through other people's posts. But, I feel like you're a ROCK STAR because I recognize you. By the way, who else on here went to that shoot or was actually in the video? It would be cool for me to know. |

Geez….I leave for a week and there is “turkey drama”, “official board drama”, and “drama, drama (i.e. allie’s a star  ). I better hurry with this … November is almost over! I would have practiced at home and made test turkeys. First off – you literally made me LOL with this! Second, we need to talk! Brown-In Bags make you look smart when roasting a turkey, with little effort….don’t know about the stuffing IN the turkey, because we make the southern cornbread dressing baked in the oven OUTSIDE of the turkey and served with turkey gravy. I'm just gonna let it go, no purpose in going (further) into an argument you can't win I think that’s a good idea, but only after I give one teeny weenie observation – did anyone notice the way this individual signed off on one of the initial ugly posts on the official boards? There might be a clue there – and further proof that they will be irrational….no matter how rational Koen or anyone else here is. I have not gone back to read the subsequent posts on the official board – I just don’t have the strength for it. Koen, it’s easy for me to like and respect someone as kind and considerate as you are….I always admire the fact that you are well-read, very fair & even-handed, and a broad thinker – keep doing what you are doing! But, I feel like you're a ROCK STAR because I recognize you. Am I the only one that thought this was really cute? . Go Allie! Ok...my ramblings now -- we just got back from a long weekend with family, lots of turkey and all that goes with it, family games, being silly, loving each other, etc.... I am very grateful for having my husband, my kids, my mom and the rest of my family in my life........but, as I think about it -- I am really thankful also to have so many of YOU on the board in my life...some I've met (about 30 of you this year) and some I've not. This has been an odd year of trying to unwind and destress -- the little detour that I have taken from every day life to this board and to our little adventures has brought countless smiles to my face -- I'll go back to my original thought when coming here -- this board is FULL of bright, kind, thoughtful and fun people.....and it is my pleasure to call so many of you friends. Ok...I'm done being mushy  |

Go Allie! i'm "drama drama"?!?! i think not. but yes skrappy, i was in the video for like, a second.  you should check out the video thread, there is lots in it along with some cool pictures i imagine (though i bet youve already seen them!) aw! the mushy part was great! we all love you too. this really is such a great place. oh man.. i use too many little smiley men.. |
