Two of my 20-odd fish are pregnant. I wonder if they make tiny little condoms for fishy birth control? ^too funnyyyyy!!!!! heh...maybe give the guys a stern look and shake your head in reprimand? although since that would hardly work for humans...  bleh, remind to google sometime the mating habits of the fishy persuasion! |

how can you tell if a fish is pregnant? Their bodies swell out like little balloons. I basically have two small marbles with fins swimming around in my tank right now. heh...maybe give the guys a stern look and shake your head in reprimand? although since that would hardly work for humans... bleh, remind to google sometime the mating habits of the fishy persuasion! I've tried that It doesn't work at all. Go look up the mating habits of platies, guppies, angelfish and danios. I have the first and last of those fish pregnant. Am trying to breed my angelfish, but I have to get rid of the whitespot in the tank first. my little boy is getting tubes in his ears tomorrow. i'm quite scared! he's had a reoccuring ear infection for about 2 months because there's been a build up of fluid in there. the tubes will help air get into his ears and the fluid will be gone so it will hopefully not cause any more ear infections, but most importantly, he should be able to hear better now which will have a big impact on speech.

Jolene, I saw this the other day and didn't stop long enough to say that I am thinking about you. My kids never had to get tubes in their ears, but they were very close since they got ear infections so often. This procedure seems very common and also normally very successful. I wish you guys success! |

i cannot get enough of britney spears' new cd 'circus.' i got it since it leaked and oh my.. i cannot wait for the world to get it.
also, my crush on my professor has only gotten worse.
at least im doing really well in the class due to trying to be smart around him. hah!

I'm dying on the inside  Another fish died (a platy). Luckily, not the pregnant one. But it looks like they're really stressed still. And my pregnant danio is either missing or aborted. |
