apparently Chris Martin thinks Coldplay will stop next year cause he believes they should stop now that they're at their top and because he thinks artists should stop before they turn 33 what?! that's so lame, are they kidding? |

 I hope they don't do that. Coldplay is like, the only light of good popular music nowadays. Not that I'd know. I haven't listened to anything not-underground in a year and a half. |

afi is performing at KROQ's almost acoustic christmas. i cannot even begin to describe how utterly happy i was after learning this news yesterday. hopefully i can get a ticket!
tonight my apartment is having its first party! our friend, the austrian, is flying back home tomorrow and as a farewell, were throwing a party here and staying up until 4am when he has to go to the airport. shall be a bittersweet evening...

I spend entirely too much money on my fish. I did a rough tally of expenditure, and since we first got the tank (roughly Aug 07), we've spent roughly $2000 on the tanks. About $500 of that was my own money that I'd scrimped. Damn you, little finned creatures  You're too cute. |

oooh i've been waiting for the almost acoustic christmas list to come out...off to check it! is it just me or has this month gone by REALLY fast? i'm hoping it cools down over here...it's practically never stopped being summmer, grr... i'm in a kniiting phase right now. i'm like a grandma  lol |

First thing I thought of is that John Lennon, Jim Morrison and a couple other famous artists died at age 33, so maybe he's superstitious.. i dunno, but he's always been a little weird, so he might just have that kind of strange conviction

Although I agree with you I doubt he would mention a specific age like 33, why not 30 or 28 or 36? So I think there must be another reason too. I don't think he was joking, he often says things like that. Doesn't mean that he won't change his mind as he seems to do that a lot too. |

I don't think he (C Martin) was joking...I'm also very disappointed because they forgot Portugal on their latest European tour...What a shame and lack of respect for the huge amount of fans they have over here...
