I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden... Tuesday night I'll see Sigur Rós live...It will be amazing! Francisco, I hope all these things will be resolved soon. My thoughts are with you. Hello there friends, how are you doing? In the last few weeks I'm having some problems with my job (that i already told here), my band and some of my closest friends... I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden... Tuesday night I'll see Sigur Rós live...It will be amazing! Who needs all of the above when you can see Sigur Ros live?! Just kidding... but make sure you tell us all about the gig! I'm so glad this is the last year of Viet school. But at the same time, I'm absolutely terrified that this time next year, I'll be graduating I'm beginning to have second thoughts about a lot of what I wanted. I wanted to marry Ben and have his kids; weird for a 16yo, but I've made my peace with that. Today, though, it dawned on me that I simply cannot marry him. I don't know whether it's because I'm afraid of commitment, or because I'm simply such a perfectionist that I don't like potentially screwing up a good thing. That being said, I always imagined that I'd marry the (wo)man who would know me better than anyone else. Ben does know me better than anyone still living, but at the same time, he still knows just about nothing about me. And I don't want to end up in a marriage where there is love but no companionship, where I still feel lonely regardless. But I guess that really isn't an option for me, it seems lately that no matter what I do or where I go, there is no-one that I can really relate to in any meaningful way. As such, I am doomed to be alone. I just hope this loneliness goes away. I was making such massive progress, too, I don't want to have to go back to hospital for this. Or to go back on medication. That would be worse, I think. That was my little emo rant for today. I hope you are all having a better day than I. Linh, to quote from a lyric - corny though it may sound - don't let life get in your way. Just like how you mentioned earlier to Francisco, it'll only get better... eventually. I'll be going for a talk regarding studying abroad over in the UK later in about 6 hours' time. Prior to this, I had so many questions in my head that I would love to ask - but right now - when I'm expected to ask questions, I can't seem to piece together proper questions I should ask. Sigh, I think I'm just really sleepy.

Sigh, I think I'm just really sleepy. Thankyou I'm sure it will, but for the moment, it bites very, very hard. Write them down for now, take a little nap, and write down question ideas as soon as you think of them? It's what I do when I have to attend a lecture-style thing and ask questions. Today was so tiring, I came home and slept for nearly 3 hours. But tomorrow will still be just as tiring, if not more so, since I have more classes tomorrow than I did today. Year 12 sucks And I've only had 2 days!

So, I'm sure you guys already know since I mention it so often, but I'm in the club in my school that organizes concert and such. We were trying to get this one artist for our "big" spring show, but she kind of said no, unofficially, so we were thinking of doing a music festival with a rock/pop act + hiphop act. The director started reading off the list of rock acts, and I noticed some pretty big acts like OAR and Jason Mraz (who are as expensive or more than lifehouse). I said we should get lifehouse cause they will be doing shows in the spring, and when asked to raise our hands if we want lifehouse on the list.... I was the only one in a room of 30 people to raise my hand. It'll still be a pretty good show if we get a rock/pop act too (because orginally we were planning on getting one super big hip hop act), so it will still be exciting.

OAR is amazing for live shows though.. don't have the very best of experiences with some of their fans though

Yeah, I think it'll still be a great show. I'm not a big hip hop fan, so I'm glad there will be a rock act there too. There's going to be a survey sent out to the students soon to vote for who they want, and I think you can select up to 4 artists, so OAR will definitely be one of my choices. What happened with their fans though?

Well, lets try to stay nice and say that a bunch of them can be quite arrogant, and disrespectful to other bands and their fans.

I'm back home from Lisbon... Amazing gig from one of the best bands in the world. Listening/seeing Jónsi Birgisson performing those vocals, just in front of me (2nd row), was something incredible and i really can't describe some sensations that i felt. For a few seconds i closed my eyes and thought i was in heaven already... The opening act was performed by For a Minor Reflection, another icelandic band that reminds me about Explosions in the Sky. They were good and if they keep working they'll get even better. Sigur Rós setlist was: 01 Svefn g englar 02 Ný batterí 03 Fljótavik 04 Við spilum endalaust 05 Hoppípolla 06 Með blóðnasir 07 Inní mér syngur vitleysingur 08 Sæglópur 09 E-bow 10 Festival 11 Hafsól 12 Gobbledigook --- 13 All alright 14 Glósóli 15 Popplagið My favorite song from the night was Sæglópur. I confess that i almost teared. The crowd loved the gig, they loved the crowd and they love our country. Some pictures from a Portuguese magazine: I recommend them to everyone...If you ever get the chance to see them at your country/city, just go!They won't disappoint you and i bet that after the concert you'll feel a better person. At least i feel. Sigur Rós...They are more than a band, they're gods of music.

hehe, when I get my own festival one day (yes, I'll keep dreaming, and you should all dream with me), you guys can all come in and be my crew and I'll be sure to consult you all for a good line-up
