Yeah, like those people who still think Obama is a muslim terrorist. wtf? Don't these people do ANY research? It's sad that so many people bought into the hateful campaigning by the republicans and just took the unfounded "facts" that mccain/palin were smearing in their faces for granted. Goes to show you how naive people are. I think all those people should just be moved to Alaska. This way they can spend time with their amazing VP-would-be and live happily ever after, detached from the rest of the US and shooting animals from helicopters. Yeehawwwww! ^^ lol most Alaskans don't shoot wolves from the air. Alaska is a good place with people who can do some pretty incredible things ... though they did re-elected the corrupt Ted Stevens, which I don't quite understand...

I'm officially disappointed in the county I live in as a whole. I'm not old enough to vote, nor do I really care about the elections at this moment in time, but at school today, almost everyone was angry that Obama won the election, and when I ask why they bring up a whole bunch of rumors that were disproven a looong time ago. And some of them say outright "because he's black." Someone was actually stupid enough to say "We should move to Mexico or somewhere so we can have a white president." wtf? now come on. I'm thinking the president of Mexico is probably Mexican? just a thought. I guess I'm done ranting now. And, on a completely unrelated note, my cat's gonna have kittens! TX drives me insane! Hunting drives me insane. be careful -- one could fall into the same trap that Obama-haters are accused of being in -- one of predjudice, using broad-brush statements Texas is full of conservative individuals -- that being said -- many of them DO NOT own guns, many of them DO NOT hunt, and many of them ARE NOT predjudice.

As is Louisiana. The only difference is a lot of them own guns, hunt, and many, many are Prejudice. I really do LOVE my home state though, I swear!

I mean no disrespect against Texas. I know it is a big state. I should have said 'Hunting drives me insane'. How can someone kill an animal?

Some professional hunters only kill animals that are sick or old as a matter of management to not let the population of one species grow out of control. This might still sound cruel to you, but it is basically to prevent pests and extinction of other species.

I mean no disrespect against Texas. I know it is a big state. I understand Dana -- My sensitivity right now is that everyone (not just here, but everywhere) is SOOO sensitized on the subject of politics and the issues. We just need to all calm down, live, love, and BREATHHHHHE --

Even if you're not happy about it, you can only accept it and make the best of it

If for good motives like survival, etc. I think it's okay but for sport, I think it should not be legal.

Wow, awesome, Francis! I hope you enjoy that concert Take a break from everything else, for now. It'll get better, I swear! I'm so glad this is the last year of Viet school. But at the same time, I'm absolutely terrified that this time next year, I'll be graduating I'm beginning to have second thoughts about a lot of what I wanted. I wanted to marry Ben and have his kids; weird for a 16yo, but I've made my peace with that. Today, though, it dawned on me that I simply cannot marry him. I don't know whether it's because I'm afraid of commitment, or because I'm simply such a perfectionist that I don't like potentially screwing up a good thing. That being said, I always imagined that I'd marry the (wo)man who would know me better than anyone else. Ben does know me better than anyone still living, but at the same time, he still knows just about nothing about me. And I don't want to end up in a marriage where there is love but no companionship, where I still feel lonely regardless. But I guess that really isn't an option for me, it seems lately that no matter what I do or where I go, there is no-one that I can really relate to in any meaningful way. As such, I am doomed to be alone. I just hope this loneliness goes away. I was making such massive progress, too, I don't want to have to go back to hospital for this. Or to go back on medication. That would be worse, I think. That was my little emo rant for today. I hope you are all having a better day than I.
