new Jack's Mannequin got leaked. At least I think so, it sounds finished. 42 days early is awesome. Favorite song is "Spinning" "Swim" and "Crashing". yeah, i mainly like their faster songs. "Suicide Blonde" is terrible.
New anberlin album is out too, but I haven't listen to it yet.
New Bloc Party album this Thursday.

I'm trying to refrain from listening to the JM leak. i don't know why. Guess I'm just sick of not being excited anymore when I get the actual album cause I already heard everything lol. But I'm glad to hear it sounds pretty good. In your opinion, is it better than EIT?

I'm trying to refrain from listening to the JM leak In your opinion, is it better than EIT? good luck waiting that long. I'm gonna say EIT is better, but i'm not really a fan fan. I mainly just like the music. Like Andrew's vocals and lyrics don't really do anything for me. I guess that's why I'm not too fond of their slower pace songs. and there's something weird with 'Annie Use Your Telescope' and "Suicide Blonde" that rub me the wrong way. maybe it'll grow on me, i don't know. |

Any news from the band that shares a name with your user name? I know Roddy is doing another solo album next Spring, but haven't heard anything about the full band. Solo album's due 15th September  As for the full band, they're currently still working on it I believe. They played this new song called City Hall though in a recent gig. I'm not sure when it's due just yet - but I do know Roddy's expecting a baby sometime soon. So that should keep him busy for awhile. I'm sure you know what it's like  Nice topic! Any news about Muse upcoming album?! Speaking of Muse, have you seen the videos from V Festival? Gosh. Totally made me jealous for not being able to be there. Killer bass line <3 ---------- JM should be interesting! :] |

2008 has been a slow year for me and now i wont have a michelle branch album to add to my list cuz she said the people in Nashville don't think it's 'ready' so she's gonna work on it some more. I just pray they arent trying to make it extra country. that would piss me off. I'm hoping it'll just be plain folksy folk like the singer/songerwriter from the 70s era. no offense to country fans, but country just seems so phony.
New Of Montreal album is so damn sexual. i like it, but it's not as memorable as their past work.
The album cover for Mogwai's new album is the worst album of the year. i swear. i was kinda let down by their last album, but this one is pretty cool. very consistent.
and Valencia is one surprise album that i find myself enjoying. It's pop-punk, but it's catchy as hell.

The new Stars EP, Sad Robot is sooooooo good. all of you should check it out. Amy's vocals are insanely gorgeous.
The new Peter Bjorn and John album is crap. don't bother.
I could never get into snow patrol (except How to Be Dead and Chocolate), but that 16 minute song sounds interesting.

so Third Eye Blind is taking such a long time finishing their new album. early 2009 maybe? anyways, i found this today. linkmaybe I'm reading it wrong, but iono, it just feels like the band is running out of creativity, they are asking the fans to remix their unfinished instrumental and probably will use that as inspirations to finish it. If it sounds good, then i don't care. but it just feels sad that they cant do it themselves. most likely, vienna teng and meg & dia's new albums won't be out til early 2009, so i dont have anything to look forward in the next 3 months. i was only in a MTV phases for 2 years and that was partly because of Michelle Branch, but everything they played on TRL between 2001-2002, i loved. Seriously. but dang, TRL is gonna be off the air on November. what will it mean for the network!
Lisa Hannigan's (back up singing for Damien Rice) new album is out. did not see that coming. it's alright so far.
