I can't get past Moveonday. I love this song and keep repeating it, lol. I knew it would be my favorite. I love, love, love when Lifehouse rocks hard like this!!!!! (I'm a little enthusiastic, can you tell?)

2 listens in and....(facepalm)
Not one line, song, melody or anything else comes out and pulls at your heart strings or your emotions. It's very flat, one dimensional and, dare I say, lazy. I love the band to death and don't fault them for trying to shake things up. This is a miss though.

Aftermath, Barricade, Only You're The One, Always Somewhere Close - love!!! I am not dissapointed at all with Almeria! But where the hell is Ben on this record, didn't thought he could be even less on this record than on SAM, but I guess it is possible, with him playing only on Aftermath, WTF? ps. Try to locate names like Sergio, Serge or Sean. Exactly. Well Ricky thanked his family, so there is Sean.

I do feel moved by a few songs, so I do not completely agree with some of you..I can see where you are coming from though

I love Moveonday as I mentioned. I also really like Always Somewhere Close, Aftermath and Barricade. I think those are all beautiful songs. Gotta Be Tonight is fun, too. There are a few I will likely always skip over, but I'm not as down on this record as some are. I definitely like SaM much more.

And those songs you mentioned are my favorites too! The ones with Auto tune, no auto tune, doesn't matter to me, they are catchy. I like the album so far, is it their best? Not in my opinion, but I give them a good effort in trying something different.

Also, why would Sergio have to be named? we move on, we cannot mention everyone in the space alotted for that..I think the thank yous are besides the point when it comes to the content of the album *that said I do really appreciate Bryce thanking the fans:D* no it's not their best album, but it's different, sort of fresh, and experimental in a way.. I am not overenthused by this album so far, and it actually hits me least of all 6..but ok you win some you lose some:p

I think I've said everything I wanted to say in my review of the album. The album's not very good in my eyes, but I do support the band, so if this is their choice, I'll respect it. I'm gonna stop saying what I think about it because there's not really a point in hashing it out forever and there are a good number of people who do seem to enjoy it and I wouldn't want to spoil their enthusiasm.

Also, why would Sergio have to be named? Because without him there probably wouldn't be Lifehouse?

Serge has nothing to do with Almeria, so I don't see why. Are we thanking engineers from 2000 as well? Serge is great but I understsnd his absence in the booklet.

If these 10 songs are the best songs they think they wrote in the past two years, two years of amazing touring around the world - may I add, then I'm not sure if Almeria is the only one and...
(yes, I am leaving that hanging like the frustrating lyric that follows track #6)

what Koen says:D and yes, 2 years of pondering working hard in the studio resulting in this is indeed odd now you mention it:p

I'm wondering if they are under a contractual obligation to release x amount of albums by certain dates. If so, that would explain why many of the songs seem so uninspired.

Wow. After reading some last messages in this thread, I feel sad and depressed. About to listen new album now. Hope it will make my mood a bit better. And I don't want LH to disband, like EVER.

Did those engineers formed the band back in '90:ies? Did they were with Jason when a band member was needed the most? Exactly. Personally I could never forget that kind of friend be that Almeria or album number 1000. Assuming if there wasnt any 'hard feelings' in the first place.
