A rant, because I am way too invested in this for my own good... I am really sad (ok, more like angry) that Obama's foreign policy advisor, Samantha Powers, had to resign because of her off-record comment that Clinton is "a monster", which she later apologize for. Meanwhile, Howard Wolfson on Clinton's camp gets away with calling Obama "Kenneth Starr". I don't get it

this whole thing might actually help Obama, cause his campaign has done 'the honorable thing' while Clinton's campaign is doing the 'same old dirty politics'

Another thing about this is that, as a voter, it's getting pretty stupid. A woman loses her job for an off the record comment. I'll be glad once they get to the convention and realize that the only way the party will resolve this is to put Clinton on the ticket with Obama as the running mate. Their too much alike to say their different so they should just run together. Plain and simple

Obama will never do that. He wants to distantiate himself from the 'old politics' including Clinton. I think he would completely make his message illigemate

I seriously doubt they'll be on the same ticket. I used to thing it might be possible, but the way Clinton is attacking Obama, I don't see them running with each other. It seems to me that Clinton would prefer McCain to Obama.

I also don't think they will be on the same ticket. If they don't already, I don't see how they won't detest each other by the end of the primary season. I also think it's extremely arrogant/conniving/misleading/manipulative/desperate of Hillary Clinton to keep mentioning that Obama might be her running mate.

No, of course they won't do that. It makes too much sense and that's not how politics work

If Edwards would be a running mate, it would be for Clinton, I think so too. I think Richardson would be Obama's best option, though there are several others, but Richardson helps with the Hispanic vote and adds National Security/Foreign Affairs experience to his ticket, so that should make his ticket pretty good.
For Clinton I'm not sure who'd be best but she has several options I think.

I'll remind you that who the Vice President may not be decided by the nominee themselves. If they go into the convention without a clear nominee that'll probably decided in the back room while they decide who the presidental nominee.

But then still they will look at how to make the ticket as complete/electable as they can

I still dont know who I want to vote for: Obama or Clinton. And then....1 of them or McCain. I feel that I don't know enough to make a good decision. I try to pay attention to the news, but the media only gives you what you want to hear.
So is there a website that will give me that information? And information that is simple. I'm not up on political/government lingo, so it has to be basic.
Is anyone afraid that McCain will be like Bush, only with better speaking skills?
And maybe someone has already said this, but I haven't read through everything. But...anyone think McCain will be the next president because he fits the image of what our society thinks the president should look like? He is old and white. I'm just afraid that our country is not ready for a female or not-100% white president.

Which is why have a feeling that if this gets to the convention the only clear option would be a Hillary/Obama ticket.

Hopefully Bush endorsing McCain will have the effect the Democrats hope for He doesn't seem any different than Bush to me and I don't see him as any kind of change. So if it comes down to it; I will vote Hilary over McCain.
