OMG, Michelle's dress was unbelieveable beautiful . I loved it. Last night was great for the WHOLE world. The biggest difference from last night was the crowds in Chicago and Phoenix. Much more diverse crowd for Obama which shows why he won and why McCain didn't win. This isn't about black and white, it's about democrate vs. republican and now that this election is over, it's time for it to stop. I think we're end for a very good next 8 years.

Unless they do something, the future looks bleak for the Republican party. From the NYT:

Only the Democrates can give this country back to the republicans. That's how it starts, with the only party. The Dems have the republicans to thank for getting the country to kick their asses out of the white house and bring in the dems. Now it's up to the dems to do their damn job

^I think the Dems will be able to hold the majority in congress for quite sometime. Demographic shifts are now favoring the Democrats as opposed to favoring the Republicans for the last 30 years or so. Not to mention how big of disaster Republican leadership and George W. Bush has been. Of course we can blow it but I think we'll get the benifit of the doubt for maybe 20 years.

...and a lot of people believe in the sanctity of marriage. I don't see the sanctity of marriage being hurt by letting homosexual get married and it's making me sad that many people still don't see that love is love and that everyone should have the right to get married. I did not like Michelle Obama's dress

I did not like Michelle Obama's dress I know, it's sad. On a brighter note, though, I got a message back from Obama's response team, lol. Dear Karla Thank you for contacting me, and for your kind words and support. I’m receiving thousands of messages right now from across the country and Americans around the world. I am honored and deeply humbled by the confidence the American people have placed in me and Senator Biden. I am hopeful about the opportunities and clear-eyed about the challenges our nation faces. I look forward to working with all Americans, regardless of who they voted for, in the great project of American renewal. Enlisting the energy and ingenuity of the American people is the only way we will create the changes that so many people want to see, so Senator Biden and I hope you will remain active in your community and involved in national policy debates. Sincerely, Barack Obama

He can't just use all newbies/inexperienced people. To change the old you must know the old and change it from the inside before outside matters are really gonna take a decent effect
