The conspiracy theorists are already talking about how convenient it is that she died on the eve of the election so that he could get sympathy votes.
I cannot begin to roll my eyes enough. People should get a life and have some compassion!

If you guys get a chance to catch Obama speaking about his grandmother, who died today, you have to watch it. He was so, so, so great. He actually cried while speaking and never breaking his voice. And it was a strong moment. I can only imagine his pain. He's been through so much this year and on the eve of the day that he might make history, he looses his biggest supporter. And the sad part is that that's life. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5oMY6_kCooAww, omg, the saddest part was when you saw him wiping his tears!!! I'm voting for him tomorrow at 6 am!!!!!!!! ;D

That might be part of it. I don't really have the time now to go into your points completely, so I'll save that for another time (because I find this a very interesting discussion, but maybe we can discuss this another time, and maybe somewhere else, lol, because these posts get quite long on here) yeah these posts do get quite long and take quite a bit of time . I had a take home midterm due yesterday that I stayed up late finishing because I've been so distracted by various election related things, lol this thread included. Lets do continue this discussion sometime though, wherever that may be.

I voted Barack Obama this morning! I was so careless though and brought my handicapped ID, and then realized that it did not have my name and address on it! I left my other at home, stupidly. I felt retarded, and I apologized to the woman several times, and she said it was ok. haha! So, they let it slide since the girl in the picture was me, and I'm visibly handicapped, but yeah. I agree about continuing this discussion. We can make comments about the results as they come in or whatever, lol.

It's so hard to describe the feeling today... everyone around me looks like they're about to burst, but they know they can't because of what happened in the past two elections. Hopefully we can be openly giddy tomorrow!
