YAYAY! It's Biden. I think that's a perfect choice Mr. Obama

Wow.. I just watched the Obama/Biden rally in Springfield. They are a very exciting, powerful duo. I really like the populist theme.

I like the ticket. Just a random thought. I think Kerry did a better job at keeping it a secret than Obama even though the Obama campaign seems to be getting alot of credit. Kerry had the NY post printing that it was Gephardt on the day of the announcement.

To be honest, I couldn't imagine how it wouldn't have been Biden after hearing all his quailifications before Obama made the announcement.

I'm really starting to fear Obama is going to run this convention like Kerry did in '04.

Wow- McCain's chosen Sarah Palin, 44 year old first-term Alaskan governor as his running mate. Kudos to McCain for doing something so out of the box. I'm interested in what she can bring to the table, and she's certainly drawing the media's attention away from Obama's spectacular speech yesterday. But I think this was an incredibly stupid long-term decision. If McCain does get elected president, I hope he doesn't die in office, because the thought of Sarah Palin running the country is quite scary.
I love Alaska, and I hate to make the continental United States sound more "American" than Hawaii or Alaska in any way -- but how does running Alaska make her poised to tackle big domestic and foreign policy issues?

historically choosing someone out of left field doesn't work out well. He did manage to kill the buzz from the convention.

I don't know about this yet. I don't know much about her. I probably won't be able to get a good feel of her until she faces off with Biden and I have absolute faith in Biden. This will be interesting to watch, but so far nothing has impressed me about her.
