The first few times I listened to Fool, I thought Jason sang: “I’m comfortably dancing away this fear”. At first, you would think: that doesn’t make a lot of sense. But to me, it did make (some) sense. You know that feeling that you get when you are trying to escape from having to deal with something difficult? You would just do anything but dealing with that difficult situation? So you comfortably avoid it… I thought that sounded really nice, very poetic. But after listening to the song a few times, I discovered that it’s actually “clumsily”. Still nice, but I think “comfortably” would have been cool too
