^I think Jason is aware of this in the album version... because when he sings this song live (in every YouTube version I've seen), he definitely enunciates "way now"

I was wondering why i could actually understand it in other versions. Maybe that is why they sing it so much at shows to spread the word that Jason did not lose his weiner. haha! Poor Jay!

haha that was so funny! a few weeks ago, my mom was like "did he just say 'I may have lost my weiner? '" and ever since then, I cannot for the life of me get that out of my head!!! he does really enunciate the "way now" at concerts lol oh and I always thought that in take me away he was singing "it keeps leading me to you", which isn't funny, I just heard it wrong. I still don't know the lyrics to "The Beginning" because there is a lot of jayglish going on there

Oh god, there's so many! My favorite and the one I still sing: "Who broke your phone? What a way to learn" This is not really a funny one but I STILL sing it this way: "Don't care, move on - I'm the son you gave up for this child now" Until I just looked this up just now, I ABSOLUTELY thought he was saying, "I'm the son you gave up for this child now." My world just got rocked....... Then I listened to it.....he's not saying those printed lyrics. No way!!!!! I thought in SCC, I still think he's saying "tame this mind" and I think he's says "trying to feed this" instead of trying to "beat" this and my version has him trying to "stand down from this forklift" even though I know that makes no sense. I thought in first time, Jason was using Shakespearian English to say "when 'ere I'm ALONE with you tonight." Like the shortened version of "ever." I was like, that is very learned sounding! Then I realized it was actually just a one syllable word--"where" that he makes into a two syllable word. And.....he never says ALONE, he says BELONG. So the actual lyric is....."Where I BELONG is with you tonight." But I'm still singing it the other way because I can't remember the actual lyrics. I don't know if anyone else has a problem with the Spin lyrics in the beginning. Every time I read them they make sense, but I just cannot remember them when it comes time to sing along. I'm fine with "I'd rather chase your shadow all my life, than be afraid of my own....I'd rather be with you.....I'd rather not know...where I'll be..." This is where I screw up...."than be alone with my thoughts that I know......" I just can't remember to say CON-vinced that I know. It doesn't flow for me.... If you learn it wrong, it's very hard to change....lol!
