Me three! If they are going for a different single here, which one do you think would be the best option? Somehow I get the feeling that the more uptempo rockier stuff would do better in Europe than the sweet loveydovey stuff.

I think they should choose rockier songs. HTGT would be a good choice I think, this one could reach a bigger range of music-fans and you can actually dance to it (at least I do ), so I do think it could do really well.

I'm not entirely sure what would be the best choice for Europe, but I'd lean towards "It Is What It Is" as it has that current pop feel to it that radio seems to like, or go for HTGT as it is different from what people have come to expect, so it will make an impact that way, or what I would actually think has the best chance (regardless of US/Europe), Wrecking Ball. But I doubt they'll do that.

Almost every song could be a single thanks to slight overproduction which has been since WWA. :/ Even I'm 99% sure it's not gonna happen but I still hope that the possible upcoming record have different producer than WWA and S&M.

I think "Here tomorrow Gone today" is a good one. More uptempo and different than other songs.
In Holland (not the LH fans, but just the radio listeners) many people know Lifehouse from "Hanging by a moment" and "Halfway Gone" those 2 songs are different but is a bit in the same style. If Lifehouse would bring out "Falling in" people think it's a soft rock band. They need to surprise the people with more rock.

I agree with the majority here. I also think HTGT would do well with the general public. Mainly because it's a rockier song. I'm not sure whether IIWII would do well. Don't get me wrong, I love IIWII, but I think a slow song is less likely to make the charts. The Dutch at least, seem to have a slight preference for rockier and/or dance type of songs.
But Wrecking Ball?? Really? Would that choice be based on Bryce's vocals? Or on the song? When we were talking about the next single, that song just never entered my choice set. But when I think about it now, I can actually see that song doing well on the radio. The only thing is that it would be a huge stretch for Lifehouse... So yeah, probably not going to happen.

I LOOOOVE Wrecking Ball and it would be an AMAZING choice, but I think for a single it should be a Jason song, but I'd love if they throw in another version (live, live, live!!!! ;D) of WB on the new single too

Is "You and Me" a well known song in Europe in general? Just wondering because that was a MAJOR U.S. hit and I think that just shows how versatile Lifehouse is. I remember when Halfway Gone was first released that many, many people did not like that choice either. I'm just thinking that I appreciate the diversity of Lifehouse songs, so why not let the general public see all these sides, too. I'm proud of it. At least in the US, I think it's going to do really, really well. #1 I predict! Especially if they get a great video with it. .... Maybe that would be different in Europe... but HEY... London at least LOVED "Breathing" .... Jason was floored at how popular that was when he played an acoustic snippet in London and got a deafening chorus sung back to him. IDK... just trying to see a different side of things.

You & Me was never released as a single in Europe, so it's not a very well known song to people outside of Lifehouse fans

Skrappy, every post you make radiates positivity! I like! I think it's a pity that they never released You and Me here in Europe. I think that song could have done really well. None of my friends are really into Lifehouse. But whenever we are in my car and that song comes up they say that they really like that song. And indeed You and Me would have showcased a different side of Lifehouse. Breathing is one of my personal favorites and I firmly believe that that song should have been a great hit. I mean, come on, every teenage girl should have been drooling over that song, right? I don't think Breathing was ever released here in Holland. But if it had gotten the proper attention, then it should have done well. Now it seems that only lifehouse fans love it. I have a question for the music experts among us: How does the releasing of singles work? I find it kinda strange that You and Me was never released and somehow they did decide to release Halfway Gone. Was it the case that Halfway Gone just got popular with the (Dutch) audience and then they decided to officially release the song? It just seems a bit strange that they suddenly decide to release another single in Europe. It just seems to come out of the blue (not that I'm complaining or anything). Was there something that happened that led to the release? Just curious.
