well, I have nothing to do with it whatsoever. I'm pretty sure it's Eric & Erica's operation. And I think the plan is to configure it in a way that it'll be redirected from LHF, I think a lot of decisions will be Erica's. So lets just wait & see what Eric & Erica cook up as for hosting and servers and all that jazz. And if they need your help, I'm sure that they will contact you.

I am working with Erica to figure out the best hosting option and once that is established certain individuals she decided will be contacted to discuss the forum system, layout, moderators, etc. Its very unlikely the current board info will be transfered over. It wont hurt to start clean. Having it up as a read only archive is a more likely option. I'm not really like technology savvy, and this is probably one of the least important things right now, but just out of curiosity, would the website still be lifehousefans.com or with a new server would they have to change it up? i think LifehouseFans.com still works (though it doesn't really update much) and that it's just the community being down. So I'm sure that the new community will be linked from LHF.com eventually. But I don't know how many things are for certain, and I'm sure as soon as there's news Eric, Erica, or anyone else involved will let all of us know.

They should do that anyway, on the new boards. I'm sure a lot of fans can spare a few bucks to help maintain the community. Even if it's only like $1 a month, or $10 a year or something, all the little bits make a nice whole together.

They were talking about that last night, but all of that will be figured out with the rest. If Lifehousefanform.com or lifehousefansboard.com is available I think that would be a good substitute if we can't get Lifehousefans.com. I think the best thing will be to just have a message board and link up with Eric's site for videos and MP3's. Hell, I wouldn't mind going back to the old Blue Board

yeah, but I wasn't really talking about the domain name, more about the content of the website

or someone could host the site off their computer? it'd probably be cheaper since upload/download is limited by that person's internet plan. i think the only cost involved *besides electricity* would be domain registration, which probably isn't necessary if everyone could remember the i.p. address.

That's quite a shame Although, to be fair, there were a fair few annoying people on the board recently so I'm kinda glad we have a place over here to chat without the constant "Where can I download..."-type threads
