Hey guys, finally home - and that has made me feel better Still having trouble keeping any food or drink down so that's the next thing we've got to work on. Thanks for the continued prayers and thoughts - they mean ALOT. Because of Dyalisys I won't be able to go back to work... but maybe after the transplant if my job is still there that is. Right now I'm just working on getting some rest and gaining my strength back - I should be online a little more now and you can of course feel free to text or call me if you would like. Love you guys <3

Bleh dialysis You should keep the laptop for a while so you have something to do while you sit around for that. How often are they gonna make you do it? You should start loading up the iPod too <3338

Yea, I am definitely keeping the laptop for that - and I take the Ipod and phone everywhere I go as well. I've got to go every Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 12:00PM - 4:00PM... hopefully it won't be as uncomfortable as it was in the hospital. I would just sit in there and cry 'cause I couldn't move because I was hooked up to so many wires and IV's and I had just had the catheter put in my neck. So.. I'm hoping the outpatient dyalisys will be better.

Down the road from my house to a dialysis center.. it's a little less hospital like. It's like reclining chairs instead of hospital beds. Today didn't go as smoothly as I hoped though.. they took too much fluid from me which made me light headed, I almost fainted, blood pressure dropped and I had to get fluids put back in me before I could leave. The TV setup is nice though.. they have directv with internet, xm radio, games, etc. and we each get our own little station with headphones. I was too sick to enjoy it today though - maybe Wednesday will be better... I hope so.

Sorry you had to go through the low blood pressure routine today. It can definitely happen when they take too much off. Glad they have a better setup though. Each center is different and has a different "feel". I'm excited that your providers are working so quickly on the transplant idea...and you'll understand more about that process after Thursday. Stay focused on getting a new kidney. Just see it happening. It's that hope that will keep you going as you have rough days in dialysis.

If you ever want to know what's going on with me - the most likely place to find that information is here: yournextdisaster.sweet-catastrophe.com/I try to update here or the myspace blog when something important happens but I often don't talk about the day to day life. So feel free to check out my blog and keep tabs on me and of course, comments are always appreciated.
