Hey guys, first of all – I am okay. It’s been really scary and will probsbly continue to be for some time. Im feeling better now that we nabbed a laptop and I can get in touch with the world. You have no idea what a huge comfort something like that is. Anyways, things have gone pretty down hill… as jade said I’ve been pretty sick on and off for a while now and it caught up to my kidneys. We had no idea until I came to the ER Sunday afternoon just trying to get some relief from throwing up.. then we find out my kidneys had completely shut down. We’ve spent the past few days hoping they could build up strength again and come back but that doesn’t seem to be happening. So its been pretty upsetting to hear that I will have to go on dyalisys and have a transplant… that’s scary stuff. But they say I’ll be better so… I’ll hope for that I guess. Right now, I’m doing okay – got fluid on my lungs from all the IV’s they gave me so I’m having to be on oxygen and take a bunch of meds. Tomorrow we start the dyalisys and im sure there will be a more tears to come but for now.. im okay.

Hey girl....I'm sorry I couldn't text back sooner -- I just got back home from the hour and a half drive after visiting Katie for the afternoon at school.

I'm worried about you and can relate to EVERYTHING that you are going through and what you must be seeing at the hospital.....remember, I went down this road not so long ago with my Mom. Stay strong and ask the doctors lots of questions. More information makes you a smarter patient!
