Or am I missing something?  She's in the hospital, but she's doing okay. I think we should all just pray for her and wish her a speedy recovery. I'm not sure what happened, but Eric posted a thread on facebook as most of you probably know now. |

Yes, Eric sent out a note on Facebook. She's okay, but as most of you know Kristi suffers from chronic kidney problems. She's been sick for so long (flu-type sickness mostly) that her kidneys sorta shut down so she'll be in the hospital for a few days or so.
I don't think any of us have gotten any real solid info; Joe isn't so hot at passing along the facts, but from what I gather she's doing okay physically, but of course she's really upset about having to be in the hospital and all the discomfort that involves (no entertainment whatsoever...)
No word yet on how long she'll be staying.
On top of that, Matt Nathanson is playing in her town on Friday so she's really, really upset that she'll probably be missing that. We were supposed to see him together back in October but that's when she first started getting sick so she's really upset about missing him again.
I've messaged Matty on myspace to see if maybe we can arrange for just a quick phone call or something while he's in town. Anything I can do to make it all suck just a little less.
I'd say it's probably best to keep any phone calls and texts between the hours of 11am and 9pm (EST) Outside of those times I think Joe has her phone so she can rest.
I'll find out something more definite tomorrow when I speak directly to Kristi.

She's in a much better mood today-- just bored out of her mind! Still no word on how long they think she'll be there

Well, some more bad news. She has to be on dyalisys for a while and will need a transplant.
(She said her sister would be the likely donor and it could happen in january)
No word on when she will be released, as of right now I know she doesnt have to stay there the whole time waiting for the transplant.
