yay, I finally got a new computer. Although, it is a pain in the butt to transfer all my files.

Anyone know a good audio recording program? I downloaded audacity back in june last year when the vh1 album preview of wwa came out and we needed someone to record storm, and it worked great on my old computer, but now it's being weird on my laptop and recording me, instead of the sound my computer's playing

SoundCapture if you want something small for just recording, if you want to be able to edit and Audacity isn't working, try Adobe Audition

Why am I telling you this? Well...there's a story here. They drove over here with him today (about an hour drive) for some Memorial Day stuff, and asked if I wanted to go with them somewhere. I agreed, and sat in the back with the doggie. We were driving along and everything was going smoothly. It took about 10 min or less to get to our destination. I wasn't really paying much attention to the dog because we were about to stop the car, but suddenly I heard a strange noise and glanced over. The dog had decided to toss it's cookies (or should I say kibble) all over me. Not once, but twice. Of course, there was a blanket across the backseat for him to lay on, but as expected, more of it ended up on me than on that blanket OR the seat. My sister was more concerned with her car than either me or the dog, which was annoying (as a result, I was pleased to see that some of the dog's stomach contents had made it's way onto the seat belt I had been wearing). I didn't make it back home for an hour or so, so I was stuck wearing bits of barf for awhile. *sigh*...at least the dog is cute, I guess. lol

Yesterday my fire alarm went off when I pulled a pizza out of the oven... A little sensitive maybe??? It wasn't even burnt...

lol at least you can take comfort in knowing that you'll have plenty of warning time in the case of an actual fire...

but maybe you need to clean your oven

There was no smoke at all... and the oven is clean! Lol. It made no sense. It just smelled like freshly baked pizza when I opened the oven...it was a little on the crusty side but definitely not burnt. Very strange!

We used to have a running joke about a sensitive smoke alarm when I was younger. The alarm at my grandma's house would always go off when she was cooking, no matter what. She never burned anything either (ok, well sometimes she burnt some toast...but that was the toaster's fault. lol). Whenever we would hear the alarm we would be like, "Well, dinner must be ready!" hahaha. We even got her a refrigerator magnet that said something to that effect. I have to admit though that this was a lot funnier then than it is now. lol!!

I had a weird dream last night. I dreamed that coldplay was playing a private little acoustic set in a school hallway ....and for some reason i was there too...everyone was sitting on the floor, even the band and they were taking song requests so i kept bringing up "i'll see you soon" and he wouldn't play it, he said he hates that song. lol.... then when they left they forgot half their gear in the hallway and i helped them carry it out into the van and that was it.
