May May Be Good

I hope May's starting better for you guys than it is for me.

Cayte's supposed to get here tomorrow morning, but since her flight in Phoenix is delayed for almost 2 hours now, she's missing her connection in Philly (she had about 90min in between). So I'm hoping she can get on a flight to Brussels instead, otherwise she won't be here until May 3rd (24 hours later than planned), and I will have to reschedule my birthday party, because she'll be extremely tired, and I'm not even sure what time we'd make it to my parents house.

Argh.. I just really hate US Airways at the moment. They better leave soon for Philly and put her on that flight to Brussels or I'm going crazy.


Edit It seems they transferred Cayte onto a flight from PHX to MN and then from MN to Amsterdam. She'll be 4 hours later than planned, but that's still better than 24 hours later. I wonder if she'll ever get to see her luggage this time, as she never did the first time she visited me, and it seems to going to be complicated again. Please all cross your fingers for her travel to be smooth from now on.

She just landed in Minneapolis and if she can figure it all out she'll be boarding the plane to Amsterdam in a little under 4 hours from now. Lets hope all goes well and no one screwed up the luggage.

Thanks everyone. The flight is on the way to the runway and is about ready to take off, so at least it's leaving on time. I haven't heard anything from Cayte anymore since our last phone call, so I'm assuming everything went well with the boarding pass.

Only thing I'm still worried about is her luggage. Hopefully they were able to transfer her suitcase to her new plane in Phoenix, otherwise that might become another story. Ah well, at least she's on her way to the NL. I'll be glad when I have her at my place safely, and if possible with her luggage.

I'll be having a crazy week ahead. Starting with a BBQ party tomorrow followed by a trip to IKEA's on Sunday and leaving for the beach from the 6th onwards. Will be soaking up the sun all the way til Friday! Can't wait for that tan.

I suppose no e-BBQ party then, Koen? Heh.

hehe, nope, no e-BBQ, but we do have a BBQ on the same day, though I assume yours is ahead of mine in time
