thanks guys! our main ceremony got rained out so the day was much shorter than expected. it still doesn't feel real, it'll probably really hit me when i'm not getting ready to come back in august. feels great to finally relax though, at least for a little while

Any idea of what your going to be doing with your major, job wise? i'm indecisive and like too many things, lol. i'm taking this summer easy and making some money and studying for the GREs. after that i'll look for a job in the field somewhere doing something and hopefully apply to grad schools.

katelyn, congrats on graduating! And good luck studying for the GREs. I took them last year...they're not fun. If you're into vocab, this site has 4 word lists that total to nearly 10,000 words. There's also this free software that'll quiz you on words until you know them. I think the single most helpful vocab list was the Kaplan "GRE Vocabulary Workout: 400 of the GRE's favorite words with definitions." There were so many words on the test that were on that list. I can send you that pdf if you want. lol you probably don't have issues with vocab, so I apologize for flooding you with vocab stuff so soon after your graduation. I had like 2 weeks to study, and during those two weeks, I just kept wishing that I had studied over the summer

I remember when I did my GRE. I ordered the book & CD but of course that book didn't arrive here until after I did the test, lol.

Just got back from the Augustana show. I met Brinny and her boyfriend and her friend Hannah and we had dinner at Hardrock. The show was great! The singer was having a really bad cold and was drinking lots of tea and was coughing a lot in between and during songs. He felt really bad and apologized a lot for putting on a bad show but I thought they were awesome. Afterwards me met him out by the bus and told him they were amazing. Hopefully that cheered him up a little. It was a fun evening ps, koen they did play 20 years and its one of my favorites now

it sucks to be back here. i had a great vacation with koen and my family and everyone. now i'm back in arizona, which before i would be happy about, but now that it's my "home," it kinda sucks. i'm lonely, and i feel like it's gonna be a long, hot summer alone here. koen's trying to see come here somehow on an internship or something... if anyone knows of anything or anyone related to archeology of the southwest, let us know. if that doesn't work, i'm going to move there. klein is already awesome enough to help me by contacting a web designer he knows in amsterdam. but if anyone else knows of things/people over there who might be able to help, that would be great as well. thanks for all your support for us guys... i just can't handle this long distance anymore. i have nothing else more important in my life... i just want a good job i enjoy, and i'm willing to do it anywhere to be with koen, to at least give it a real try and see if it works. so even if you can't help us with connections, please keep us in your thoughts. maybe enough good vibes will help... can't hurt, right?

aw, I wish nothing but the best for you two!! I hope something works out I was on craig's list looking at stuff for myself, and decided to see if I could maybe find something on there for you guys, and this was the only thing related to archeology in arizona that I could find on there: phoenix.craigslist.org/sci/671907609.html It's an Archaeological Lab Technician (I don't know if that's what you're looking for)
