Dunkin Donuts will always be my fave....there was one by my house, but I see they turned it into a generic donut house But....Krispy Kreme is just up the street (1 block) from where I live

Dunkin Donuts when I just want plain coffee, but Starbucks for when I want a mocha or something else. Krispy Kreme is too far out of the way. DD has good bagels too.

Hmm... There should be an "other" option... There is a store by me that has the BEST donuts!!! And as far as drinks go, I like the cafe near me as well.

^^No "others" because then I'd just pick White Hen . Just pretend that you're hungry and want something hot to drink, but you don't have much time, and these are the only three places that you can go to

Lisa I love White Hen!!!! Ahhhhh I've forgotten about that place. There aren't any of those here in "the south" as you Chicagoan's refer to the rest of IL

We do not!! I've actually lived all over the state....north, central (between I-80 and I-64) and south (south of I-64) and I can tell where someone hails from just from when they open their mouth! Central Illinoisans have weird words too, like "wallago" and they call a vaccuum cleaner a "sweeper." I love dialects and colloquial (is that the right word) terms! But back to donuts, I've established that I love Dunkin Donuts, but has anyone tried Kroger donuts, if you have one where you live? Man, I could get so fat off of those.

Starbucks. I don't think the other chains exist here in France. And I love coffee anyway.

Dude, you guys totally have southern accents. I went down East St. Louis (or somewhere not to far from it) to visit a friend in prison and everyone had southern accent. Even the prison guards. "Wherre y'all furm?" or "Y'all furm Chicargo?"
