Right here gurl 1.) If you're thinking about a gym join X-sport of Gold gym. I believe X-sport has 24 hour gyms and it has like activies and stuff. Bally's suck so don't bother. 2.) Boxing or kick boxing is a good if you also want gain muscle. Check out of good Hillary Swank(sp?) looked in Million Dollar Baby. 3.) Don't have time for the gym try getting some at home exercise equipment. The elipitcal(sp?) and treadmill are goo. The cycling bike is good too and it's usually pretty cheap. 4.) Since you're getting married I'm sure you want to keep you pockets kinda tight so might I sugguest Tae-Bo ;D. I love Tae-Bo. It really keeps you in shape. It helps with your balance and builds strenght. It's really fun too 5.) Jogging. You'll have to really put your mind too it if you want to try it. Once you get into it you might learn to love it. 6.) Swimming. Lots of gyms have swimming exercise classes so you could check that out. 7.) Bands. Lots of different types of band out there you can get them and use them at home. Their very simple and not that expensive. You don't really need a gym to workout and get in shape because I've lost more weight at home than I did going down to Bally's. It's all about self-control and putting you mind to it. You should buy some fitness magazine. I love "Fitness" and "Shape." "Self" is pretty good, but I see it as more about celebrities. Good luck gurl, I hope I helped some .

^LMAO, me too, but apparently it's not enough. No, actually, I work out 4 times a week....I have done so for the last year and a half (minus a few "complicated" weeks). Last year I lost 53 pounds and I've managed to keep 49 pounds of that off. I've done every single program on my treadmill and I barely break a sweat anymore on it. I just learned to swim (yes, after 23 years) and a co-worker and I go to the gym once a week to swim laps. I eat healthy, getting plenty of fruits and vegetables (and quite frankly, I'd be happy if I never had to eat another salad in my life LOL....except I have to eat healthy the rest of my life or all of my progress goes away). I drink half of my weight in ounces of water every day and avoid caffeinated soda with calories (diet sprite is pretty much all I get to drink, ugh) I'm just frustrated because I've not lost any weight and have actually GAINED an inch on my hips over the summer...HOW, I don't know because I haven't gained any weight (the 4 pounds I gained were from last spring when my indian giver parents came to my apartment to claim their treadmill back, after they'd GIVEN it to me to keep!!). Thanks for the ideas Lisa.....I hadn't thought about getting a band and I think that would be exactly what I'm looking for to keep my arms toned....I feel like I'm getting nowhere with my 5 pound weights! And I'm probably not seeing as how I've used them 4 times a week since last year. I'm up to like a million reps now My coworker has a tae bo dvd, so I'm going to see if she'll let me borrow it seeing as how her fitness program she started lasted about a week

Yeah, I gained an inch back too, but I blame that on getting a boyfriend who likes big woman so he doesn't mind buying me candy bars . But no excuses. It's still my responsibilty to take care of myself and blah, blah, blah . I still managed to lose another 5% of body fat, but it could have been more. And my blood preasure got high which is extremely weird since I've lost weight this year. I never had high blood preasure before But I'm gonna start boxing with my friend this winter and my sister and I are gonna train for a marathon. Tae-Bo is really fun once you get used to it ;D Oh, and sex is a great workout, but you still have to exercise outside of sex in order to make it a good workout

You should do the Special K diet. Actually, I dunno if you can get it over there... it's like you have the cereal for breakfast and lunch, and replace all your snacks with special k bars. It makes you lose like an inch in body fat.

^^That's a very unhealth diet and it doesn't work because it's not a lifestyle change.

I don't really bother with my weight. I just have lots of sex which counterbalances all the chocolate I eat.
If I started eating healthily no doubt I would lose a shitload of weight... but... to be honest, I prefer having a little bit extra.

Well be carefull with that sex diet because while it keeps your weight down, it can make you very sick in another way . There are lots of overweight vegetarians . And being a vegetarian doesn't mean you're leading a healthy lifestyle. It really just means that you're less likely to get e-coli
