I don't necessarily miss my post count, but I would like to have the forum posts archived to read back every so often. I think there might be parts saved here and there, but if Erica still has the whole database, it would be cool if it could be archived in a file we could save to our computers or backed up on a server or something so that we could read back.

definitely... but it only went back a few months when she shut it down :/ Right before it went down she deleted it all the way up until three months before the time we were in.
That was the most complicated sentence ever... did you understand what I'm trying to say? lol

yeah, I know, that's what I meant.. that's why I hoped she still has those somewhere, but I doubt it.

Oh... yea - I see what you're saying, I don't know that she would have thought to back that up. It didn't really mean as much to her as it did to us since she didn't post there.

this site isn't really run by me, it's run by all of us. I merely used an old forum I had for a website that passed away and transformed it in a Lifehouse forum.

Only thing I really miss about LHfans was my post count.. I also really miss that. It's not important to most people, but to me, LHF was part of me for such a long time. Part of my daily websites that I visited and chatted with people on. I've kind of moved away from the entire pop/rock music scene and sadly I've moved away from Lifehouse too. I can't identify much with their music anymore and I'm sad to say I have not even bothered to listen to their latest CD more than 12-15 times. Maybe it's irony that the shutdown of LHF came at this same time in my life that I moved away from that kind of thing? Don't get me wrong, I still like Lifehouse a lot and their older stuff will always be a part of what defined me during my college years. But I have a different life now and I'm a different person....and the newer Lifehouse stuff isn't really part of me anymore. It does make me a little sad but I know I've grown....and part of why I've grown is because LH's music gave me strength through all of those years that I had dark times. I'm glad this forum is here because I do like to check in every so often and see what is going on with the guys and what is going on with everyone here. I've known so many of you from my years and years on LHF! I've loved meeting some of you at concerts and hanging out all day waiting for the doors to open and eating Giordano's pizza ;D But I do miss my post count at LHF. Not because it defined me as any kind of "status" of a LH fan, but because it represented my years of dedication to the band that helped me through the darkest times of my life. I know it's just a number and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, but I really do feel like it's a little part of me lost. But just a little part. ;D

Wow, interesting to read about the history of this forum. I just joined, and I never knew about LifehouseFans. I've only been on here a few days, and I haven't really interacted, but from what I've read, the people here seem so nice. I want to be friends with everyone. Someone suggested an international Lifehouse fan barbecue - that sounds fun. Count me in. Just don't have it too far away from Pennsylvania. Ha ha.
