First listen - There are some elements from Willow Offgood EP here esp on the bridge. Not too sure what Jay are singing here.
Second listen - Slowly grown on me. I grown to like the vocal effect; in context of the song. Although I still prefer Jason's crisp clear voice any day of the week.
>3 times listen - Ok I like this a lot esp the chorus. I can see this will be great on live. Yeah like Nicholas said, it can go either way really.
I actually love the fact that they went into completely different direction for Dragonflies although there are still hints of old/new Lifehouse sound here. Hope the album will be the same (this is implied right? since we are now getting two singles from them). I just want to see them explore a unique, different sound this time around

As a brazillian, I almost can not understand a thing Jay is singing yet. But to me this song is a sign of evolution for the band. It continues what OOW was. I really like how it sounds and want to see it live.

Didn’t know where to post this but since it’s just past midnight here, Lifehouse has just dropped another new song and I really feel it’s gonna be yet another polarising one. I’m not going to give much away but all I’m going to say is that it’s a rock song but completely different from anything they’ve done to date. Be on the lookout for a song called En Rogue when it’s Friday wherever you are.

I don't know if it's just me though, but I feel like En Rogue felt like a continuance of Here Tomorrow Gone Today sound. I don't like HTGT that much but I'm totally loving this new single. This is probably what I've ranked of all the singles so far. Cut & Run > En Rogue > Dragonflies > Static. That said, I still actually like them a lot (I know I might be a minority in this)

Wow, this is so exciting to hear something 100% new for the band (and Jason in general). No hints of anything they’ve ever done except for Here Tomorrow Gone Today as snowfist mentioned… that wail is very out of character for Jason too, love it so much 😎 wish it was longer!

En Rogue is a banger! I can just say that. Even if this is different of all they done in the past, feels like real lifehouse have born again. I felt it a little with cut n run but that was a spark. This is pure fire!

Listening to the new songs on the train this morning, I just came across something interesting. At the very end of Cut & Run, during the five or so seconds of guitar distortion, there’s a subtle beat that starts and loops before the song cuts out —and it’s the exact drum beat of En Rogue. They hid part of En Rogue in Cut & Run, which came out almost six months earlier! I know these are just stand-alone singles right now, but the fact there’s at least one connection between them may be indicative that they’ll be released as part of an EP or something.

I think I can confirm Lifehouse has a new record coming eventually – I accidentally stumbled across Steve's Spotify account and all his playlists are public. He has one called 'New Lifehouse Record' and the four new songs are the only ones there: open.spotify.com/playlist/7mojhC3RalybcJDZOSE0IlAlso has a playlist called 'OZWALD REF' and another called 'DELIRIUM REF', presumably references for the sound of the first record. They were made in March of 2018, almost a year before the album came out and eight months before Technicolour Sky was released... very interesting!
