According to Jason, Green is Golden is the last track for Winzlo EP 1. I really like this track. My ranking for this EP would be: 1. Voyage of the Underling 2. Magnetize 3. Green is Golden 4. Santa Monica 5. Ell 6. Luminate So next round is Winzlo EP 2 I presume? It'd be interesting if on the next EP, Jason would integrate more world-music sound into his songs. Something ala Linkin Park's Numb (Japan's influence) Selena Gomez's Come & Get It (India's influence). Because I do hear a bit of Japan's flavor in Voyage of the Underling which is one of the reasons I like the track a lot. My ranking is the same as yours! Though I'd switch Santa Monica with Green I doubt we'll hear a Winzlo 2 any time soon; he mentioned somewhere during the Highways EP that after the next one [Winzlo 1] he would be finished. Hoping that's not the case now though! I like this EP better than Highways I think. It's really inspiring to think they were made concurrently!

Didn't he say there were 43 songs that were going to be released? That would put us about halfway through.

Initially he said around 40, but in an interview near the end of the tour he said he would be wrapping it up after ‘the next EP’ so I don’t know if he had a change of heart. Here hoping not though!

Initially he said around 40, but in an interview near the end of the tour he said he would be wrapping it up after ‘the next EP’ so I don’t know if he had a change of heart. Here hoping not though! Dangit. I really hope not. I was really hoping we'd get "What Happens Next", "Winds of Change", "Take the Weight...", etc. I will say this though, if "What Happens Next" is given the studio treatment, I hope it's not rushed and hurried for an online release. Give that song some time in the studio, splash in some fine piano work, bring in a guy to arrange the strings...just do it right. I remember talk of a b-sides album after the self titled album and I've been hoping since then for "Climb" to finally get released. But, anymore, I'm no sure this is the band that could do that song as we know it right in the studio. Maybe it needs rearranged and modernized, but then is it the song I've been waiting 16 years for? Like True Love Waits on the latest Radiohead album. I've waited almost 20 years and it's finally released in a totally different arrangement. It's still a great song, but I prefer the original. My point being, all the songs we want to hear done again, maybe we should just let it be. Maybe one thing we associate with the crappy sound of The Edge is the crappy quality. It's burner forever in our memories. Just because it could sound cleaner, doesn't mean it should. A lot of you nice folks are (luckily) too young to remember those early days when songs like The Edge first played and all music quality online was so bad that you didn't notice. Or when the FKA songs leaked and Jayglish was in full effect and we had no idea what he was saying. So, yeah, we selfishly want polished versions of these songs...but don't know if we can expect anything that would match the expectations we have in our head. Personally, I have no interest in hearing Jason re-record The Edge. The song is almost 20 years old and that's not who he is anymore musically or lyrically. So, if this is the end of this project, oh well. That means the focus will likely turn to Lifehouse songs for the next cycle.

So, can we wait for Lifehouse's come back for 2018? I mean.. after Jason says these things..
