Well damn, that does suck! Can anyone post them here from the Ebay ad? If I knew how I would, but I don't haha
Last day, let's see what happens. Looks like in the new update within the ad, the seller states that it will be re-listed again if it ends with no sale, but it will have a reserve price higher than this listings starting price. Don't think they want to let it go cheaply, but maybe someone will snag it for $99. haha

should I put a bid in? start it at $1?, $5? And thanks escalibur, those links work so I can play them....so I don't have to download them. IDK why they wouldn't play and still don't on ebay for me. I say, we should all pitch in $5. I mean I know there are at least 7 of us that wouldn't mind having it. And whomever gets it, just gives it to us all. I don't mind putting in $5-10. However if it is $99 still (reserve met price), we won't have enough people nor do I think it's worth that much, but $25-$35 is acceptable for me.

Let him list the CD digitally. If we're indeed with 7 people we can all pay $1, that should cover it for high quality digital versions of the songs. I don't necessarily need a burned CD written on it with marker, I can do that myself

Yeah I think he did make that copy himself. I mean, if he misspelled Ron's last name, then he must have written that. Who's to say after someone buys this, he won't sell the same thing without the tickets again? All you do is rip the songs onto the same cd or whatever and put the same stuff on it with a sharpie.

Okay, the cat is out of the bag! I posted here obviously to market the ad, and introduce it to true fans that would appreciate it. I am sick of listening to you so called fans doubt this CD. I am the person who has listed it. I am also the person who has had this CD in my position ever since it was recorded 14 years ago! It is not important who I am, or why I am selling it. What is important is that it is 100% authentic, and if you people are truly fans than me posting here for you all to see should be thoughtful enough. To hear you slander, and doubt something that has been listed on Ebay several times over 3 weeks, without being removed. Don't you think Ebay and Lifehouse have already seen it, and not removed because it is real?
Use common sense and for those that have it. I will check this site periodically to answer any of your questions. Thanks

Not sure.. if someone else wrote it on the CD he could've misspelled Aniello. Even though, regardless if the actual CD is legit or not, I don't even care too much, it's just too expensive if he doesn't let it go for less than $99 (or even $49 sounds very steep to me). No one's bidding and that should make it obvious this item isn't worth that much.
For me, good quality MP3s or FLACs or whatever regular audio format versions of the CD would be more interesting, because it's not like the CD comes with artwork or anything and I have no use for the tickets (I have my own ticket stubs from shows I went to, these tickets have no sentimental value for me). So if I could get the digital audio for like $5, I'd consider it and if there are more people here who are interested in audio only, I think we could even share the costs. However, the person seems determined to auction off the actual item for a lot of money (which I suspect could take a very long time), so I don't know if that's even an option.

I'm sorry, but the timing of your posts and the updates on eBay made it quite clear. I haven't tried to offend you, but because of the 'ruse' you can't blame us for getting suspicious. Also I don't like it that you question the fandom of the members on this forum. The members here have always been honest, sometimes very vocal if they are enthusiastic or disappointed, but this time, you gave us a reason to be suspicious. I agree that it doesn't matter who you are or why you posted it on eBay and it is an interesting item, but it was quite clear from the beginning we weren't willing to pay that much for it and you were trying to drive up the price. Personally, that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I can't speak for others, but I imagine more people felt that way.

Don't you think Ebay and Lifehouse have already seen it, and not removed because it is real? Use common sense and for those that have it. I will check this site periodically to answer any of your questions. Thanks First of all, lighten up. Just because something has been on ebay for 3 weeks doesn't mean it's legit in any way. There are tons of scammers on ebay trying to make money with fake memorabilia or fake demo CDs and you can never be too careful. They are easy to fake and bands don't go searching ebay for fake CDs, they've got better things to do. I actually believed it was legit the moment you posted the clip of 'Take The Weight'. The main question I want to ask you is... WTF is up with your pricing? I mean seriously... don't get all preachy on us about being "true fans" and then have the audacity to put that CD on there with a starting bid of $99. If you wanted to be fair to "true Lifehouse fans", and if you were one of us, you would give it a price that is at least reasonable... You already admitted that you posted here solely to market the ad and to me, just the fact that you came on here to link to an extremely over-priced item, and even lied about how you would be bidding on it yourself seems a bit shady and...not very nice to put it lightly. I get it, it's a rare CD. But all of the songs except one are already quite freely available elsewhere so there is really not much incentive to buy it at that price. I would re-think that strategy if I were you. The people posting on these boards are basically the pinnacle of hardcore Lifehouse fans so if nobody buys it here, I doubt you will be luckier elsewhere. On a personal note, if I was in possession of such a rare song I would put it up for download with a locked password and then post the password here on b-sides for the hardcore fans to download. I know you're trying to make money but I'm telling you now, the way you are going about it right now that is not going to happen.
