Stop asking him anything. Let him notice that he is not selling Nirvana's demo cd. As much you ask him as much he will notice that there is potential interest in that disc.

I didn't ask him. I told him $50 was too much. All I said was that if he were to put it back up for less, I would consider buying it. That's all. No. Big. Deal. Plus I wanted to see if he was going to. Anyway, I wonder if God's Lemonade is the same version that we have? They could all be different. Chances are, they are all from Diff's Lucky Day (same exact tracks). However, we only have one God's Lemonade so this one may be a little different, doubtful, but I would still like to hear the album regardless.

I would say. If nobody buys it, than i'll do it! But my problem is i am just a Dutchy and i don't even have a credit(master) card. And he have to send it to the other side of the world, so i don't think that's a good idea. I know it's expensive. It really is, but we have nothing to lose! But 100 is a bit too much! Maybe all the songs are a bit different. I know we don't want to play that much for only "Take the weight" but there is a big chance we never find something like this again! He proved it was real with the Take the weight clip.
But i understand the problem he put it up again and asking more for it.

Don't... it's seriously a rip-off. Maybe after the bidding ends and it doesn't get sold again we can send him an other message and tell him we'll buy it for 30.

Yeah, don't just throw money at it, whether it's real or not. It's a pretty unique item, but the fact no one's bidding for it proves it's not worth this much. And it costs like $18 to ship it to over here, so take that into account too. As long as it stays over $50 (and that's including shipping costs) it's way too much in my opinion.

yeah anything over $50 for me is too much. Even $50 is pricey. I remember I was lucky enough to talk a guy into selling me his Diff's Lucky Day album off of Ebay for $50, now that's a great deal. His last name was Wade btw.....but this was still pricey when it was at $50, $30-$35 is a good range for it. Either way if any of us ends up with it, I would definitely share with you guys as I hope you would too Also, just looking at the auction, he mentions that the songs are those on Diff's Lucky Day. So they aren't different. Track listing of the songs that should sound different: 1. Somebody Else's Song 3. Only One 5. Simon 6. Everything 8. God's Lemonade 13. Take the Weight I do have an earlier version of Simon, pre-Lifehouse years so this may be the version I have. I am curious about Everything. |

Wow! What have I missed!!!!?? I got busy with other things and didn't even see all this till now! Obviously, I ended up not bidding at $49 either, but now it's $99!! What the heck is going on?
Anyway, I have sent a message to the seller again, asking if we can get other clips from other tracks...maybe this CD really is worth more than the attention it is getting, but we need more proof!

I don't care if all the tracks have versions we don't know. It's still way too much. Clips aren't going to change that. At least not for me. I had a hard time paying $30 for a brand new album because I thought that was rather much, so I'm definitely not going to pay more than that for this.

I doubt we will get everyone to pitch in, but it says that shipping is free anywhere as long as it doesn't exceed $20 or something like that. Also, there are two new clips added to the ad now.
Does anyone know if these clips are the same as from the "DLD" album?

God's Lemonade is the version we know. Everything sounds familiar too, but I'd have to check it against the versions I have, but I'll do that later.
