Thanks for the video/mp3. It's good quallity. The lyrics are a little bit too sweet, but a nice love song. I like it. It's a good acoustic song. For a kind of reason i just can't stop listen to it. That says enough about the song i think.
Hope they play it it more times.

I like it, but I'm certainly not blown away by the song. It fits with the sound of the Geffen-era Lifehouse. I don't really hear the 'old' Lifehouse in it very much, if I'm honest (like someone mentioned before). It reminds me of the 2nd half of WWA a little bit even. I do like that the song is honest and seems to have direct and honest emotion, but it's a bit straight forward.
I miss the days where the lyrics were filled with metaphors and imagery and when the songs had a little more guts. The songs they play and release these days are still quite good, but a lot of them are a little safe (with a few exceptions).

This is a very sweet, honest song and it's nice to listen to it, and of course I'm excited about them playing it in Europe for the first time, but I share the opinion they can do better than this. I guess I miss the songs I can relate to and this isn't one of them , although it's very pretty...

I second what Koen said, BUT I am still totally in love with that song. I feel like it's a song that you can mostly connect with when you have butterflies and all those feelings, guess that why I love that song so much right now. It's such a sweet, gorgeous and genuine song, I can totally see how Jason wrote f for they wedding anniversary.

I can't help but wonder (with any song with a name in it, from any band) how they decide to call it Angeline. I like it. It's a name you don't hear that much in songs or movies.
It's a bit to sweet and soft for my liking as well, but at the moment I'm really into the rougher songs LH has, maybe in a couple of weeks this will fit my mood.

I miss the days where the lyrics were filled with metaphors and imagery and when the songs had a little more guts. totally agree with that - that's why I like "No Name Face" and esp "Stanley Climbfall" that much ♥

To be honest with all of you 'now' I start to notice the overproduction of WWA and S&M. The sound is just too modern and slightly overproduced for me. Of course I miss "Serge era" LH with that sound and lyrics..oh man. I would like to have serious conversation with Jason and Rick about this because I'm so curious why their first record sounds much more 'adult' and old school compared to the latest ones. It's just strange because someone could easly say "this is the record from their teenage era and this is where they are "old guys playing some good down to earth rock". Of course the explanation could be "but we always want to do something new". I totally understand that but why cant that new be the new without 'naive' lyrics, overproduction and too much radio frendly songs? Who could guess at NNF era that songs like Falling In will be LH's single. Which pic is more old school/bad ass? You decide.

I do like the songwritting from NNF a lot and several of those songs (Simon, Quasimodo, SIB, Everything) do have more meaing to me then the SAM songs, nevertheless I LOVE the current Lifehouse and believe they as a band, their chemistry, live and everything has been never better than now. I love SAM just as much as I love NNF, those are my two fave LH records, seriously, I could not decide which one I like more. For the next record I would love if they combine the rock energy that they have now with Jason's old school writing skills! But we can't force them to write what we want, they all, and of course Jason as the songwriter, are in different places than 10 years ago, just as we all are and of course this is a big influence on his writing. Other wishes for the next record would be no Chris Daughtry and Ben actually playing the songs on the record. I feel sad about him not playing much on the record, makes me feel like he wouldn't be even a part of the band.

I feel connected to the new song because of what Minka said: the butterflyie feel when you've fallen for someone..besides it's a sweet song*which really resembles a German lullaby;-)
regarding lifehouse as overproduced: I thnk they change, develop and stuff like that. they have an amazing energy on stage that moves me to tears, and I actually like SAM a lot better than WWA..
change is good, and living in the past is kinda useless. thank god all those precious songs will never go away again!

I totally understand that but why cant that new be the new without 'naive' lyrics, overproduction and too much radio frendly songs? ...but then again, without the radio friendly songs like Halfway gone I fear, Lifehouse would have NEVER returned to Europe - I mean it took them 7 years - SEVEN!!! So yay for radio friendly songs X-D

You guys!!!! Have you seen the video of the marriage proposal that Jason facilitated onstage right before he sang "Angeline" in Manchester? Oh my gosh!!!! We have to make this viral. That is so awesome!!! The only thing is that we need a video of the proposal and the song. I see ones of the proposal separate from the song or the whole entire acoustic set. I'm trying to see if anyone can edit their videos to make it more concise. Wouldn't that be cool to spread this around.... spread the joy AND get Lifehouse a little publicity at the same time??? Here's a great vid of the proposal part: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbMWAKjuulk&feature=youtu.beHere's a great vid of the song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID7Sc4OuDfg&feature=youtu.be

I saw that vid too. Very cool and funny! If you figure out how to make it viral (which I'm sure you could with your crazy thoughts ) let me know, and I'll join you in your efforts!
