and of course, once again, the closest date to me is Dallas (3 hours) and it's a Tuesday (AGAIN)...same thing happened in 08, and once again it looks like I won't be able to go.

I freaked out a little when I saw the ticket prices on LiveNation for Detroit - $41.50 to $52.00! That includes the exorbitant fees, though, so not as bad as I thought at first. We saw Keene at this theater back when it had a different name (State Theater, maybe?). They made us line up down the street from the venue, which leaves it wide open for line jumpers, plus I was the FIRST person from the line to enter the venue and there were already people at the barricade, which means that people working at the venue let their friends in early - both reasons NOT to like that venue. Also, there are lots of panhandlers.
I think I'll go to the Chicago show but don't know anything about that venue. Has anyone been to the Chicago Theater?
I am also distressed by the lack of Ohio shows. My husband just mentioned the other day that he'd like to see Lifehouse again, so hopefully they'll sneak one or two in on the weekend between Chicago and Detroit.

Ive been seeing these guys since their first national tour in early 2000 - they ALWAYS play Ohio, headlining or not. I am willing to bet there will be a 2nd leg, but I may have to find a way to make it to Detroit just in case. Im surprised they are playing fairly large venues, too. Im used to House of Blues-type shows which are limited to 1000-1200 some people, the Fillmore in Detroit is twice that.

They haven't headlined since 2008. The WWA Tour began Fall 07, and they headlined places over that summer as well. So they headlined a lot in 07. MM, Emily saw them play at Chicago Theater. It's nice, obviously, but expensive and seated. Right now, that seems like my only option. So I might see you there!

I saw Kris Allen when he played Summerthing in SF with Lifehouse. I wasn't very impressed with his vocals. He seems like a nice guy though. Either way, I'll be a very happy camper when Lifehouse hits the stage!!

GUESS WHO'S GONNA SEE THEM IN SAN FRANCISCO!!!!!! *is about dying of excitement* They need to hurry and post the tickets. So I can buy mine and hold them and die of happiness. I don't really like Kris Allen either... I saw him when he played with Lifehouse, but wasn't very impressed. I think most of his popularity is just 'cause he won American Idol...

I guess I'm one of the only ones who is a Kris Allen fan. I saw him headline in Grand Rapids this summer. I went mostly because I'm a huge fan of the band that was opening for him (GRO), but I liked him too so I went. I didn't have an expectations, but I absolutely loved him! I thought he sounded just great and was pretty funny, lol. Not to mention he's adorable, but...yeah. lol.
And there's GOT to be a 2nd leg, if they aren't going to announce more dates later. There just aren't enough dates there and they skipped too many places. I just wish they would announce them all at once because I can only skip one Thursday this semester, and the show I'd go to if there WASN'T a closer show is on a Thursday. If I buy the ticket then they announce a closer date on a Thursday... me: >:-(
Also, I've been to the Chicago Theatre a couple of times and it's really cool on the inside. It sounds like it's going to be really hard to get good seats. And yeah...expensive. I think all the ticket prices went up for this tour.

Uggggh, the Orpheum. what's wrong with the Orpheum? It's reserved seating. better than general admission like most of the other venues they are playing =)
