hey skrappy, that sucks about what the other person on the board did, but i don't think many people on here get involved in that. i know i personally never ever go to the official board so yeah... on to randomness. so our hot water was shut off ALL day yesterday and then i woke up this morning and there was no water at all! they didnt tell us they were planning on shutting anything down, nor did they notifiy us of any emergency as to why it had to be shut off. its finally back and now im waiting for my roommate to get outta the shower! lol also, i went to target today to get britney's new cd (oh yes, its grand. go buy it.) and while there i spotter their christmas lights. less than $2 for a mini strand! i was stoked so i got multi colors, clear, and blue (i ALWAYS wanted blue but my parents would never let me cause it means youre jewish. lol so my room is all blue-ed out now ) and our apartment is getting a christmas make over! |

Thanks--you know--that's one of the reasons it drew me here. But I feel like I'm pretty entrenched in those boards at the moment and they are bringing me down. I don't think they meant any harm by threatening to shoot Jason, but I guess it was a bit extreme. The thing is, Jason almost sings rap on the Myster-E album. I guess it doesn't count because he mostly just does the choruses. But still, it's amazing, and I don't usually like rap much either, but I'm in love with the Myster-E songs! I want to give copies to all my friends and convince everyone that this music is awesome. Maybe I'm the only one, but... Anyway, I'm convinced that Jason Wade can do justice to any genre of music. I would love to hear him do some solid rapping (assuming it wouldn't change his personality and he wouldn't change his name to J-Dizzle or whatever it was that Maureen came up with).
I didn't know blue lights mean you're Jewish. I guess it makes sense, though. Not a Christmas color.

I kinda get that the green comes from the color of Christmas trees, and white from the snow... those are natural occurences I guess. But who decided that Santa wore red? Or does the red designate something else? |

why would there be christmas lights for jews? as far as i know they dont believe in christmas so i got really sick over the last 2 days and yesterday evening i started vomiting a lot, like whenever i drank something it would come back out so I went to the hospital and was put on the IV all night. They told me I had some kind of bacterial infection. I dunno. I spent the night in hospital. I'm back home now but still feel really crappy. I'm drinking water again but very slowwwwly and with a bucket next to me just in case  |

Yeah, I think I might have overreacted just a tad. I hate it when I do that! I just got super overprotective or something. It's so silly! The following will be too much information for any fellas on here: (I must be PMSing or something.)
Anywho, it did make me realize I was getting too worked up over stuff. I wrote my farewell blog today and don't plan on going back for some time. I was taking stuff to heart too much.
BTW, I really like Myster-E too and I can't figure out why that stuff wasn't bigger when it was out. I'm so glad you posted the links on the other boards. When I was on vacation, that's all I listened to "Da da DA da da...." until I lost my IPOD touch in either JFK or Boston airports. I have a lot of faith in humanity, but what do you think are the odds that I get that back? I've contacted the lost and founds at each place I was and now I'm just holding my breath.
Re: "Christmas lights for Jews" -- that made me laugh. It's such an oxymoron. Holiday lights is more appropo, I guess.

Well thankfully this place is completely unlike the official boards. People are actually friendly here and are able to have a decent discussion. So I think you will enjoy your stay here. Just forget about the official boards. I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon either.

Welcome skrappy! :] Despite being extremely occupied right now, I still had to drop by to get my dose of lh-bsides. Except, I never checked in the hospital, so I was just lying in bed half dead and cold to the bone for about two days. It's not a very nice feeling, but I do feel rather detoxed from all that barfing. Lol. My sister's getting married in two days!! I'll never want to shop for a purple dress ever again. Suffice to say I think I have enough dresses to last me five years (then again I don't do/wear dresses often enough). I'm in charge of her wedding slide show as well as the PA system for the day. Her theme song would be Oasis' Stand By Me and The Beatles' Real Love. I suppose half my relatives wouldn't exactly understand what I'll be playing on that day but oh well... it's not like anyone'll listen to all that during dinner anyway. I'm going to sneak in at least a few Lifehouse songs in the playlist too Damn those people who had to terrorize Mumbai  As well as all that political turmoil drama in Thailand! A whole string of bands were scheduled to play in Bangkok but due to the seizure of the airports around Bangkok by anti-govn protesters, they had to cancel Bangkok Rock Fest for the 2nd year in the row. Since when has the world gone so bitter (and tainted)? But of course, I suppose the world had more things to worry about, like Britney's birthday comeback show. Which.. she did pretty good, so I read? |
