haha, that's funny. Oh well, they have the right to their opinion I suppose, as deluded and misguided as it may be...I just hope they don't hold this against lifehouse at the concert. I don't want my guys heckled...
Did anyone see the comment about the guy 'sneaking' onto the LHM forum and 'setting the Lifehouse fans straight'? I just laughed, these people are...wow

lol I am having trouble finding where this bashing occured... I read the Hilary Duff thread on Lifehouse music and nothing realy bad was said. The only thing I saw was that someone said we're too good for this... and we are; so what's the big deal? If we're gonna open for a Disney star let's make it Zac Efron Atleast he can sing pretty and he's fun to look at - win, win! Or... we could play with people in our own genre - nah... that's crazy talk!

"and now that she's sexed up her look and changed frop pop/rock to an AMAZING dance music style. Her lyrics are amazing now, and Lifehouse is almost on her level musically"
hahaha...that was posted on Lifehousemusic. I figured I'd share in the insanity
Nice pimping of Zac Efron there, Kristi... ;D

Alright I know it may sound stupid, and if you don't like that I did this, then flame on. I just felt compelled to say it. And yes, I made an account to do it lol.
Hey guys,
This is a fan from the Lifehouse boards. I know it may seem stupid that I made a profile just for this, but I just wanted to be the mediator/go to guy for this.
Yeah it's true some of the people on our boards said some things that shouldnt've been said about HD, but the general concensus is that we were all kinda shocked to see two different sorts of genres of music come together like that. It just seemed kinda from left field, that's all. But then again, they are under the same roof of popular music.
I just wanted to say that, as a Lifehouse fan, I know I love and respect you guys as supporters of an artist that you love. We are the same. I know that after I heard about this touring thing, I was over it. So LH is going with a younger demographic. That's great. I respect HD and her music because it's her thing that she loves to do. It's just not the type of music I personally listen to. But that's okay, isn't it?
I just hope there isn't an overwhelming amount of animosity here. I would ask that if you don't know who Lifehouse is, you should really listen to them because they do put out great music. If you don't like them, that's okay. I'm sorry if there was any disrespect.
Peace out, guys!

I found another thread on there about the, when they first anounced the pairing, and they had some ridiculous facts of their own. I just find it funny that since Lifehouse is in a genre they don't listen to, they assume that they don't have any fans and that we should be happy that they're being allowed to tour with Hilary....well come on now. The boys have been headling on their own JUST FINE for longer than hillary has even been on the radar. I really wanted to join on there also and just point out some facts on the other thread. They got into a heated "who's more famous" debate. Hillary does play much larger venues, but that doesn't mean she's more successful than they are by any means. Both acts have had large amounts of succes in their own genre. I felt like pointing out that hey, they have gone multiplatinum and have played huge venues with bands that are undoubtedly A LOT bigger than Hilary Duff.
gah. rant over. that bugged me.

Wow a lot of their comments really bothered me. These are two completely different genres of music they can't even be compared to each other because both sides are biased. But seriously, their "LIKE OMG" comments irritated me because they didn't even want to open their minds up to other peoples opinions.
This whole tour this is such a shocker anyways, a lot of us were disappointed and confused but we accepted it and some of us were even excited.

I feel dumber after reading that and my head hurts. lmao Actually the thread is amusing, I really don't see a reason to bash anyone LH or HD. I know there were things said that could have been said nice, but that's because some of us (including me9 were and are very dissapointed about it. Both have their fanbase, which is great, but why the hell do they tour together? Those are 2 differnt types of music that don't match at all, just a very bad decison of their managment or whoever. Lifehouse should have got someone else to tour with and so does Hillary.
