Okay, I know, I know... many of you have heard me and Amanda go on about this band a million times already, but it’s possible that a few people haven’t, so here I go again! [If you haven’t listened to them yet, I know that several board members here can vouch for the music being good! A few people have even gone to see them live (hi Breann and Dara!)]
If you’ve never checked them out, this is my description of them that I use on myspace:
“Every now and then, you find an up-and-coming band with all the right ideas and all the right songs. We The Living is one of those bands. These four guys from the Midwest have big plans and bigger hearts, and more passion for their music than you can imagine. JP’s unique vocals perfectly complement the lyrics about life and love, which manage to feel fresh and familiar simultaneously. Their talent shines through in the musical foundation of each song, laid out by drummer Benjamin, bassist Jasper, and guitarist Matt. Since my chance meeting with the band while in line for another concert this summer, I’ve gone from casual fan to full-blown supporter and promoter. I’ve watched them continue to grow and develop as a group, and I couldn’t be prouder. These guys are going places...join the journey.”
Fancy wording aside, these guys are really good, have so much passion for what they do, and are trying to do things in their own way. They’ve become friends of ours and I can vouch that they are all awesome, fun, hilarious guys, and are totally worth your time.

-They recently posted a video called “Share This Music” and they would like as many people as possible to watch it and share it. Please go take a look and pass it along!

-They also started a blog recently which is totally hilarious. Their blog videos are usually awesome.

-Stefan, the (former) bass player, has left the band in order to go back to school and fulfill his dream of becoming a music therapist. He is greatly missed, but the new bass player is an equally awesome individual by the [nick]name of Jasper. His real name is Jeremy, but the nickname seems to have stuck. He fits right in and I’m excited to see him play.
-The guys will be heading back out on tour shortly, be sure to check their myspace and see if they’ll be anywhere near you soon!
-There is now an official We The Living message board, co-created by me and Matt from WTL, and co-moderated by Amanda and I. It’s only a small number of members for now, but if you like them and want to join another message board, please do!
