KL stands for Kuala Lumpur, Cayte. Heh. That's the capital of Malaysia where they were playing ---------- Yes, I did take pictures with them But I must say, I look rather.. stoned lol Anyway, here are a few pictures from that day in the airport - just a few because I didn't have enough hands for the camera what with all that banner/poster/CDs/marker pen etc. This is them getting a briefing on their itinerary I guess. I managed to talk to Tim about trying out local food - and he says he's not afraid of this local delicacy called durian. It's a kind of fruit. He also mentioned they would be surfing at this park, right before the concert the next day. Oh and in the letter I wrote for them, I actually included two whole paragraphs about how I've come to love them through Lifehouse. (Also a hint for them to tour together) The story's basically dated back to the old lhmb, a good five years back. Someone started a topic about the highest jumps you've ever seen in a concert (Lol, we start the most random topics ever). I remember most of us were all pretty bias saying that Jason's jumps kicked serious butt. But then someone came in and posted saying Tim from Switchfoot jumps amazingly high. Believe it or not, that was how and when I got to hear of Switchfoot! Next thing I know, I found myself checking out several videos from them and it certainly justified the fact that Tim Foreman is an amazing .. jumper. Lol. I caught myself saying, "Shit. This band is goood!" several times as well. And thus began my blooming love for Switchfoot. Even sat through two painful hours of A Walk To Remember to listen to their songs! So.. The poster: Here's Tim and his "surf" cart. Unfortunately, RomeyJerome's backpack had to block the shot lol. You can find the combination of pictures that I took with the band members here. Oh and I told Andy it's time for him to be in front of the cameras for once, so I took a picture with him as well! Andy's the guy that runs the Daily Foot and all that <3

Nice!! I actually got to know Swithfoot through Lifehouse aswell I got these newsletters from Fanscape because I signed up at a lifehouse thing (can't remember what), but Switchfoot was in the newsletters too once with their song Meant to live, and I checked them out because it said their music was related to Lifehouse's. I'm hooked ever since I first heard MTL

I love how we love some other band because of Lifehouse. They certainly opened many wonderful musically-inclined doors for us! Speaking of Switchfoot though, did you guys check out any of Jon Foreman's solo stuff?

Yeah I recently purchased Fall and Winter, haven't really gotten a chance to get into it yet, but I will soon enough :-) It's a little less rock then SW, but me likes what me has heard so far :-)

Enjoyed Fall when I first heard it. It took me awhile to warm up to Winter however. Hmm, it seemed a tiny bit repetitive to me, but there were still a few songs that hit home. Among those two EPs, I liked The Moon Is A Magnet a lot, as well as My Love Goes Free and I Am Still Running Might I add that the artwork from both EPs are incredible?

Ooh you certainly might! Well, I got the EP with Fall and Winter bundled together and it has Jon's face drawn half on it with a orang-y background colour, what do the separate ones look like? I also like the fact that he wrote the booklet by himself and that it is made with recycled paper. The only thing that is not so good is that the package EP is slightly thicker than a regular cd-case so it doesn't fit in my cd-caseholder, just like the bundle I have of Learning To Breath, New Way To Be Human andLegend Of Chin. Ah well, they look happy together on top of the cdcaseholder :-)

Ahh. The Early Years. I should really get my hands on that collection. I heard I could only pre-order it here in Malaysia at some Chrsitian store though A bit troublesome I have to say, but the next time I pass by that store, I'll be sure to get myself a copy of it As for the JF album covers, I think it looks something like this: This is for Fall: And Winter: I LOVE IT. It's so simple yet it brings justification to the saying "a picture paints a thousand words". Looking forward to the Spring EP!

ok this might be a little random, but since this is the SW tread: some days ago I was changing channels and when I hit Eurosport (a European sports channel, duh), figure-skating was on. There was this Canadian couple skating to 'Dare You To Move'! They did a good job at it too.
