I know there's no need really to start this thread, cause everyone on here knows Mike. (Hey Mike, where are you, introduce yourself ). Mike's a humble English gentlemen (and according to his welcome post he likes to dive into popcorn, interesting). and he makes splendid songs in the tradition of Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Vertical Horizon, Train, The Calling, and the likes. A very talented songwriter (at least in my opinion, but I know many people agree with me). I think he's going to TX to work with producer soon, so hopefully that'll pay off. He really deserves to get a break and get some recognition. www.myspace.com/mikefinleymikefinleymusic.cjb.net

Argh! That's me!! ARGH!! Spinny. Cheers for this thread, Koen. yeah, I'm off to texas in 5 days to work with Cary Pierce, of the band Jackopierce. He's making my songs all shiney and lovely. Gunna have a CD by the end of it - tell your friends, tell your enemies, TELL STRANGERS ON THE STREET LIKE A CRAZY PERSON!

Too nice, guys. The cd will be proper professional quality so the songs'll sound like PROPER songs you'd hear on the radio. How crazy is that! I'd really appreciate you buying a copy - the whole thing is costing me nearly $20,000 so it'd be good to get a little cash back.

UK Pounds? Yipes. But you're good. And there's certainly potential. Hopefully you'll ship out your CD internationally?
I'll most likely continue my education in UK in a few years' time. I'll come hunting for you at Oxford, Mike. But not in a stalkerish kind of way of course -cough- Who knows though, you might be the next big thing by then.

I'll make it my mission to get you played on national radio, once I get your CD. I'll just buy several copies so I can 'accidentally' leave them behind at radio stations

Glad you made it there safely, Mike! You should provide one of those "in the studio" video-casts for the Finlettes to keep us up to date

Hi dude, I'm talking to you right now. Don't be afraid of the iMac! They can be awesome computers. I'm glad it's turning out to be a productive trip so far, and I'm excited to hear the final product. Best of luck!
