This time, one of my alma maters. www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/14/university.shooting/index.html I am completely numb right now. I don't know anyone who goes there right now, but I think back to how many classes I had in Cole Hall - a lot being a freshman and sophomore and taking all of those gen ed's that are in huge lecture halls, which is what Cole Hall is. My thoughts go out to everyone involved in this tragedy. Except the gunman, who is reportedly dead and I hope he's rotting in hell right now.

My friend's cousin goes there. I hope they weren't one of the people who were hurt. She told me she didn't know yet.

yeah and apparently it wasn't the first one this week?
"The shooting was the fourth at a U.S. school within a week.
On Feb. 8, a woman shot two fellow students to death before committing suicide at Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge. In Memphis, Tenn., a 17-year-old is accused of shooting and critically wounding a fellow student Monday during a high school gym class, and the 15-year-old victim of a shooting at an Oxnard, Calif., junior high school has been declared brain dead."

Yeah, so much crime is occurring in my neck of the woods lately. It's scary too because the technical college is like within 20 mins from my house. All of this is a shame...
