lucky katelyn... i stayed up all night working on homework and didn't go to sleep because i had an 8:30 class...i couldn't even see the buildings outside my apartment this morning. my school sucks.  |

^  that stinks. my school rarely ever shuts down, we may have gotten a little more rain and ice than you guys which might be why they decided to close. today my housemates had a snow ball fight with the neighborhood elementary-school children then we built a fort in our living room, lol. we're such kids  |

Just thought I'd stop in and say hello.
I'm not busy at the moment. I'm actually completely bored out of my mind!! I HATE the snow. If I never saw it again in my life I would be happy.
yeah Maureen, my school was open too, but I only had one class on Friday and my teacher isnt crazy about attendance, sooo I stayed home. And I live out near the burbs, soo it was slightly worse where I live than center city.

^jealous...
vanessa carlton performed at my school tonight. the opener was joe wilson, who i think is a local guy. he played acoustic guitar and harmonica. i thought he was good and i got a free demo, so i was happy. vanessa was surprisingly good. i remember there being some mediocre reviews of her at the vegas show so i didn't go with high expectations. i thought she sounded really good though. she played mostly stuff from her new album and a few old favorites which the crowd went crazy for. apparently there are a lot of her fans at my school because the crowd was nuts. she seemed to really enjoy the audience though and had a lot of cute banter throughout the show. she almost seemed embarrassed because of all the cheering before, during, and after the encore. but it was a lot of fun! worth my $5 and waiting in line for an hour in the cold to get good seats.

^^ I was there too, with my sister  I thought she was good too. I didn't really expect much, because for some reason, I thought was like a diva, but she actually seemed really sweet and cute. Apparently "White Houses" is the unofficial song for some frat, which is why all these guys went crazy for her to sing it lol Oh, and apparently, earlier in the day, she spent like 4 hours at your school's gym lol. My sister's friend went to go work out in the gym and saw her lol. |

so that's why there were all those guys singing white houses? i thought they were just crazy drunk, but they probably were that too, lol. i was at the gym yesterday, some girl tried to start an arguement with me over a treadmill. but i don't think vanessa was there when i was. it would be funny if she was and i had no idea though, haha.

It's 1.41am now and I have to wake up in a little over 4 hours (joy).. but the drizzle stopped a few minutes ago (it did start again however), so that woke me up.. but since it started drizzling again, I should try to go back to sleepy land

the internet was down at work until noon today. it really sucked! we didn't even have e-mail capabilities until 10. thank goodness it's back up.
february is almost over. 2008 is flying by already.

I hope end of February will also mean end of my illness. It's been almost a week in bed (with high fever) but I feel as if it was an eternity. And still I don't feel any better I can't wait for real spring to come.... (cough) Anyone has some good news? I promise to come back tomorrow and check |
