Thank you so much Minka and Francisco.
Really, we are doing pretty well -- and she is stable -- so we can wait for the right moment.

Karen, I'm really sorry to hear that. I really hope that in some way they can find something to help your mother. I will be keeping her in my thoughts.

How fun! I hope that you get to see guests who are interesting/fun to you. EDIT: I just looked at the CBS website and this is what I found for this week: Monday, February 11Kate Walsh Jason Sudeikis (Saturday Night Live) OK Go with Bonerama (CD "You're Not Alone") Tuesday, February 12Evangeline Lilly (Lost) 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Girl Brad Paisley (CD, "5th Gear") Wednesday, February 13Martin Short (The Spiderwick Chronicles) Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone) Thursday, February 14Regis Philbin (Live with Regis and Kelly) Friday, February 15Charles Barkley (NBA All-Star Game) Comedian Bill Burr I have no idea how their taping schedule corresponds with air date, so I posted the entire week. I love Kate Walsh (but second taping does not sound like a Monday show).

Thank you Katelyn and Maureen for your sweet comments last night. We just got the call reporting that the kidney is NOT viable because in the overnight testing they found that the donor has Hepatitis B. This is Okay...the wonderful thing about all of this is that this process over the last 24 hours has given my Mom HOPE that finding a viable donor IS possible even though her body is resistent to so many of the possible donor antigens. Waiting on a miracle! THANK YOU all for your thoughts and prayers. I was a bit reluctant to post yesterday afternoon, but figured the more people on her file the better. I'm sorry to hear that but I believe having hope is the best thing she can have right now and it will help her get through this whole thing. ...Congrats Yuliya

the late show taping was really cool. i've never done anything like that before so it was really neat to see. we got in line at about 4:30, just as they started giving out tickets. after we picked them up we had 45 minutes to eat and then had to go back. it was bitter bitter cold so we just hung out at a cafe across the street. it was pretty cool because when we went back they herded us into the roseland ballroom across the street (where we'll be seeing lh in april). so that was kind of cool, i'm guessing that we'll be in the same room because there was a stage set up. if we are then it's going to be nuts, that room was huge. while we were there we recognized a friend of a friend who recently graduated from my school and is now an intern there. we chatted with him for awhile then headed back across the street and into the theater. we were #119-121 in line, seating was random but being in the front helped. the middle section was about half full when we got in but they saw us and seated us in the second row on the left side right in front of the band (the row in front of us only had 2 people). we were pretty psyched. the show we saw was with charles barkley and bill burr, it will be aired friday. it was really cool, dave was great and the band was awesome. it seemed a lot less intimidating for the guests than i thought it would be, i don't know, it's hard to explain i guess. very cool experience though, we had a lot of fun. oh, maureen, when we were there on sat we went to nbc to find out if conan had a lottery system. apparently he only does standby tickets. the lady told us that the line starts to form at 6am and they start to give tickets out at 9am. she said there's a 50/50 shot of getting them but if you're in the front of the line you're pretty much going to get some. we should go sometime (when it's a little bit warmer outside)

Wow, that's awesome! I'd love to do that. I wish I lived closer to NYC.
I guess I could try to see Oprah sometime. lol! But I hear it's really hard to get in there.
