Please let us know how her appointment goes. How far along is she? It is really hard to see heart problems until the baby is about 20 weeks along. I had to go back for a second ultrasound at 22 weeks because they couldn't really see the entire heart in my earlier u/s

this is what she posted on her myspace page: "The specialist found what they believe to be a pericardial teratoma, which is a monstrous tumor on the heart. The baby is healthy, his heart is well developed as well as his other organs, but the tumor is very large and has pushed the heart slightly out of normal position. As long as the tumor does not get too large and add pressure to the heart, they will be able to remove it at birth. If the tumor grows too large, I will have to have an emergency C section. Whether or not the baby will survive depends on how old the baby is when the emergency C section takes place. If I have the C section by at least 30 weeks, the doctors should be able to sustain him. So for now, I will be going to the fetal heart specialist every two weeks so that the specialist can measure the tumor and see its affects. Time will tell."
please keep praying. we're hoping for the best.
