that almost happened to me last week too! My departure flight from Michigan was delayed and messed up all my connections... They were like "yeah sir....you can take this flight but then you're going to have to spend all day tomorrow in Newark until 9 PM to get on your next connecting flight".... ugh. Ended up getting a connection through Detroit and made all my connections luckily, but it still sucked! Speaking of books, I haven't read a good book in forever! The last one I read was "Angels and Demons" which was awesome

wow, i feel like i have so much to catch up on! skiing was amazing, we got about 6 inches of snow the night we got there so conditions were pretty good all week. weather was decent, not too cold and it was only windy one afternoon. the sun wasn't out too much but i really can't complain because that just meant that the views weren't as spectacular as usual. i could have stayed for a few more days (how is it friday already?) but we had a lot of fun so it was a pretty successfull trip minka, i'm glad your grandfather is feeling better! cayte and koen, i'll keep you guys in my prayers

aw wow, thanks for sharing that story, mary. i do know other couples who have made it work, so that helps. but it does sound complicated.. also.. does anyone have any good books they could recommend? i'm looking for something to read before i go to sleep.. something fiction, maybe kind of romancey.. i dunno. any suggestions would be great! Glad to share the story...I like letting people know that long distance relationships can work, as long as both people are willing to work hard enough to stay together. I'm currently reading The Runaway Jury by John Grisham. The last story I read which was also really good was The Night Listener, by Armistead Maupin. But both are the type of books that are hard to put down because you really want to know whats going to happen next. Oh and Nicholas Sparks' new book, The Choice is a good read....and an easy, quick read.

thanks for all those book suggestions, guys. i didn't have time to look into them much, as i went to target last night. i ended up getting "eat, pray, sleep" which is selling well and sounded kind of interesting. we'll see.. but if i really do start reading books again, i'll definitely be checking out your recommendations. should get a library card.. mary, i did see "the choice" at target, and almost got it.. but i "chose" not too. haha

I'm guessing they're going to have new shirts and stuff on this tour? Do you think the sweatshirts will be the same or different?
