Lifehouse are straight up music. other bands have to act wild to cover up that they can't sing 100% on key.

Oh, I don't hate you, lol. They used to be quite timid on stage. And I've seen them on Pinkpop 2003, that was plain disastrous because they didn't have any energy left after touring all kinds of festivals in Europe that summer. So yeah, they don't always convince, that's true. But hey, when it comes to Lifehouse, I'm always a little biased

i think the guys could talk a little more on stage, but their stage presence, especially this last show was great! i don't like the bands that get on stage and act like a bunch of idiots, especially if they're cursing. that's just plain crap to me!

I really don't care if a band talks a lot or not at all on stage. They are musicians, so if they let the music speak, that's good enough for me. You can interact without talking. But a good live band knows how to make a connection with the audience, one way or another. Lifehouse is absolutely getting A LOT better at that in the past 2 years. Though I still believe they are not a festival band, they do much better in mid-size & larger club venues. (Also does more justice to their sound). It's also why they are such great people, they're humble and at times also kind of shy (not as timid as they were a couple of years ago though, which is good).
They however, usually, do long and tiring tours of several months long, so at the end of the tour they must be drained. So I think it's normal that some shows will be less energetic than others. And if you catch one of the less energetic ones, I can see that you could get a false impression.

and good luck at states!!! i played field hockey in high school, greatest sport ever. we never made it to states though, we were pretty terrible but i had so much fun. who are you guys playing for the first round? hey if you make it to the champs they usually play at tcnj, how cool would that be? We're playing Jackson Memorial... it's near 6 flags. I really doubt we'll make it to the champs (we're pretty bad lol... we only got to states because we scheduled games against super bad teams just to help our record ). But I remember I was going to go up to tcnj last year to watch, but I couldn't make it. I love field hockey though. I'm goingto go crazy once the season ends. Did you ever play club at tcnj? Cause my sister played club last year

i played club field hockey freshman year, but it just got to be too time consuming and the practices didn't work with my schedule so i stopped. i really miss playing, but sometimes i also think i should just be thankful that i haven't had any major injuries yet, lol. i still like going to the games here though, our team is really good. good luck at the playoff game, make sure to let us know how it goes!

^ I hate when people do that kind of stuff. I logged onto the official lh site yesterday to see someone else with the same avatar as me. I took it at a concert last summer. There was no reason for her to steal that picture. I really wanted to send her a message but the stinking forum doesn't have pm.

so one of my old junior high volleyball coaches committed suicide a few days ago. very sad to hear about. i don't think anyone knows why he did it. he also taught 6 grade. i feel really bad for his family and the kids who had him. he was such a nice man. he was only in his 40's too. just sad.
on another sad note, there was a bomb threat that closed school on thursday. we live about 3 miles from the school. it seems like no where is safe. i just don't get why there's so much anger and sadness in this world.
ok, i feel like i should finish with something positive. First Time was #3 on rick dee's countdown today.

My school had a bomb threat last year. But it turns out it was all a hoax.
That's awesome about Rick Dees! Oh man! I just checked Billboard records to see where lifehouse is (we're #32) and I noticed that Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" is only 2 weeks away from beating Y&M's record (she's at 60 weeks... Y&M was 62). Darn, I don't want her to beat it. I hate that song. She's currently at #40 so hopefully she'll fall off.
