Haha I completely forgot it was October!
Oh and Minka, my cat is doing really well, he's the same loud cat as he was before. He even killed a rabbit last week lol.
But I hope your poor kitty is okay after all of this.

Last night i saw Amiina (4 icelandic girls that plays a lot of instruments), live, at my hometown, Porto. What a great experience. They played for a crowd of 300, 400 people. We were all sitting on the floor at the room during the concert, it was like being at home, really. They sound like Sigur Rós and opened their last tour concerts. I've spoken with 2 of them (Hildur Ársælsdóttir and María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir) after the concert, They are so simple and shy, great persons. I truly recommend their music. www.myspace.com/amiina

The Boston Globe Sidekick section posts itunes playlists for different people each week, and the list they published today(it was some comedian from Maine) included "Everything". I thought that was neat.

Does anyone know a free program where you can rip videos from DVD's onto your computer? I want to record some songs at the Lifehouse concert next week, but my camera doesn't have a lot of room for video, so I was at CVS today, and they had disposable video cameras, where it can film up to 20 minutes, but it gives you the video on a DVD (and the lady at CVS said there's no way to transfer from DVD to computer). So I wanted to know if anyone knew of a program that can copy movies from DVD to computers.

Thanks guys! I don't know if I'm going to do it though beacause I was bored last night so I read some reviews of the "first ever disposable camcorder" and apparently its terrible quality and not worth your money. But if I do, I'll definitely post the videos on here!

My friend just called me from an Emerson Drive concert that I unfortunately couldn't go to because I procrastinated all weekend and have too much work due tomorrow. Anyway, he called because they were playing You and Me which I thought was pretty cool. The quality over the phone wasn't that great, but the harmonies and fiddle sounded really pretty.
