Today was the proudest moment in my Lifehouse career. After six years, two months and twelve days of being a Lifehouse fan, my mother asked when the next show was because she wanted to go. SIX YEARS of listening to her complain when I spent money driving to shows, chastizing me for blowing off classes now and then to get there early enough, and she says she actually wants to go. Funny, she could be near ten shows if she had listened to me the whole time. I'm kinda excited for her to come, but scared at the same time. She wants to be up by me, and I will fully admit, once that first note is played, I become a different person...not sure she'll understand that...

It would surprise me if my mom knew who Lifehouse was even if I were playing them really loud and wore a t-shirt with their faces on it.

My parents still think they are "Lighthouse". Although, my dad did accidently put First Time on his iPod (we share an iTunes) and he really likes it, so maybe there's hope.

My coworkers call them Lighthouse just to mess with me. This summer they got me a lighthouse candleholder for my birthday :-P

My mom says that it’s always the same man singing…when I'm on pc or dvd watching some performances. She recognizes Jason's voice. This is enough for me. Once I caught her humming You and me.

I got to meet them not too long ago and when I told my mom, she said "I have their CD!". I was shocked, too. That's awesome that your mom wants to go to a concert! Have fun!

My mom went with me to my first show back in 2003 and she loved it! And my dad loves the cds, he likes to play drums along to them. :-)
