Thanks guys!!  Am I a dork...last night I saw Superbad and it ended around 12:15. At that point I got exicted saying YAY I"M 21!! And my friend just looked at me like "shut up." Anyhow...YES I plan to party and drink. I'm not a huge drinker though, so I don't plan on drinking to the point of sickness. So no worries. And I should be doing all my drinking at home because I have relatives visiting and out of respect for them, I don't want to be hugging the toilet all night. Now I want to go get my ID renewed and then buy some booze for the FIRST time! haha. aaah this is exciting for me. My parents are scared I'm going to be an alcoholic because I came home drunk a few times and I'm (by their standards) too excited about being able to legally drink. My sister and brother were not like me when they were my age soo...this is a first for my parents. heh. I'm ready too...I got my 21 tiarra, a beaded necklace with a little plastic beer bottle attached to it, and a pin that says "goodbye bouncer, hello bartender" and a 21 is in the middle. So I'm set for a night of boozing. |

Thanks again for the b-day wishes! I didn't even get buzzed on my birthday. I got sick...but I'm pretty sure it was due to what I ate for dinner because up until that time I didn't have much to drink. I know my limit and what I had to drink was not enough for sickness. So I got sick and like some people on their 21st...continued to drink. haha. But still, I didn't drink enough to get a buzz and I felt fine this morning when I woke up. SO we still have some wine left and I wanted to drink from one of my wine glasses that I got for a birthday gift. I couldn't last night because...well...you don't mix wine and beer! So I had some tonight and tomorrow my boyfriend wants to take me to dinner. I'm hoping he takes me where I want to go...the Olive Garden for some fettucini and wine. Then on the weekend my friends want to go out for some drinks to celebrate me turning 21 and to put an end to the summer because all of us are back at school by the 27. Uhh...I think my liver will be happy when I go back to school. But actually...I'm not really a drinker. If I go out somewhere I'll have 1 or 2 drinks and I'm done. |
