Yes!!!
I always like how other top websites would get their whole staff together and form a list of top 'anything,' and it's always an interesting read. Of course no-one will completely agree (ex: super mario bros is not the greatest game of all times), but because we all have Lifehouse as our common denominator, it should be a fun read. The more people that participate, the more diverse the list can get.
So the list is: Top 50 Albums of 2007
Make sure the album came out in 2007. If you're not sure, Amazon or Wikipedia are pretty accurate in terms of release dates. If the album came out in late 2006 and you really really want it part of the list, don't.
So I'm gonna do this the same method Koen is doing the Top Songs list. Each person nominates 25 albums, ranked in order, therefore the top album on each person's list receives 25 points, second album gets 24, ect.
so it'll look like this:
#. [Artist - Album] = [26 - # = points]
1. Apples - Red = 25
2. Banana - yellow = 24
3. Cold toilet seats - self-titled = 23
and so on.... don't worry about adding, i can do that. Just be clear if your list is in ascending or descending order.
if you have less than 25 albums, no problem. If you have more than 25 albums, you can have a side column for 'honorable mentions.'
Also, please try to have a comment on each album, just something brief on why you like it.
BUT DON'T POST YOUR LIST YET. I seriously want you to think about it first. I was going to make this topic Friday, but Koen was nice enough to make a sub-board, so here you go. So just think about it, work on it, try to eliminate any ties you got.
So here's the tricky part that i wasn't sure if this could work or not, but I'll ask it. I would rather have the list be a surprise read, something you board members can look forward to by the end of the year. So if it's alright, could you PM me or email me your top 25 list first, therefore i can organize it. So when i do post the grand list, you won't know what album is near the top because you didn't see any other list but your own. And each album would have comments by various board members.
And don't worry, I'll reveal everyone's individual list so you guys won't think i shaved some points.
Summary: Make top 25 albums of 2007 list, PM Yndi Halda, or email to Kickcity903@hotmail.com beginning December 14, ending December 28. I'll post the list before new year's.
