Hey there. I just looked at your page and only saw a video with some piano work on it. It's a very nice progression. The melody is very familiar and I can't put my finger on it. That's a good problem to have if it's an original piece and not borrowed.
Keep writing. If your dream is to work with Jason then hit the pavement and make it happen. Network like crazy. Gig like you're going to lose your mind if you gig another night. I wrote songs to cope with my emotions during and after my divorce. I demoed the songs and put them out there and no one cared. I hired an engineer and rented some studio with the intention of doing a bare bones, acoustic album. Those songs got to a point where they needed to be addressed to their potential and I had an album in mind as to what I was going for. I busted my ass to get everything just right and it came time to mix. I took a shot in the dark and reached out to a member of that band (one of my all time favorites) and sent him my stuff. He loved it and took on the role as mixer and also as composing most of the string sections on the album. I got to fly to New Orleans and hang out with him in his home studio and do the final mixes and edits with him. We put together a great sounding album and gave it a great art concept. I released that album and had the craziest things happen that I never envisioned in my wildest dreams. A year and a half after release, two of those songs made it through the first round of Grammy voting. Stuff like that doesn't happen by chance. Had I not reached out to my hero, I'd be one less friend in my life. And now he's a friend and a hero, but the friendship and experiences mean more. So bust your butt. If you want it bad enough, you can do it. It won't be easy. But maybe just a total shot in the dark message on social media can change your trajectory. It did for me. Good luck to you.
