A year ago today, Out of the Wasteland was officially released! To commemorate, let us know which three songs from the album are your most-played in iTunes (or whichever service you use).

Unfortunately, I don't know the bonus tracks. From the regular songs: - I guess Flight is the one I like best. Beautiful how it builds to this outburst of emotion. - Hurricane is great and uptempo, always love those kind of songs, the heart and soul of rock 'n roll. - Central Park is the 'deep track' I discovered a little later on, I love the relaxed feeling that song gives me.

My most played are Flight (260 or so), Wish (245), and Clarity (about 220). Honourable mentions go out to Hourglass and Hurricane, both at about 180

Wish, Flight, and Stardust <3 For some reason listened to Hourglass a lot around the time by grandpa passed away... so it would be a close 4th. Also, loveeeeee Runaways. and... and ... and it's hard to narrow down I'm not sure I've ever heard "Hindsight" or "You are Not Alone"! *seriously shocked face* hmmmm... were they on special versions?

They were part of the iTunes version of the album! Hindsight is a really strong rocker kind of like Disarray, and You Are Not Alone is more of a spiritual song, a bit different than anything they've done before. Have a listen!

It turns out I'm just now seeing this poll. So here are my three and why they connect w/ me.
One For The Pain- 1) It's my son's favorite rock song. 2) Little does he know, I feel as if I could have written this very song about his mom. She broke up with me three times while dating, we were married almost three years to the day, and I had a problem with pills in the aftermath of the split "one for the pain, two to forget her".
Flight- Well, I have a nervous system issue now where I can't stand and have a ton of other issues. So when the song builds at the end, I lose it almost every time. It's on my playlist for when I'm at physical therapy and it has pulled me through a ton. I'd like to pass that story on to the band someday.
Central Park- I pray none of you, when you're old like me, ever have the pain of missing a child who you can't see any time you wish. It's a terrible feeling. But. this song speaks to me that way. Again, Jason took the words out of my mouth that I can't speak anymore.

I'm sorry you have/had those experiences Brian, but I'm glad that you found something to help bring you solace. Wow, I always thought of Central Park as a love song for a s/o temporarily away from home; the song takes on a whole new meaning now.

Thanks for sharing those songs. Man, I feel like I just struck gold. I love those. Can't believe I missed them before.
Also... to ledvedderman, thanks for sharing the reasons for why you like the songs... it is fascinating to me what different people can get from the same music. Very interesting to hear a different meaning to Central Park. Makes perfect sense though! Favorite lyrics from that song, "my years were made to wrap my life around you" and "as sure as there are stars up above... you'll always be loved" It is actually a bit of a lullaby now that I think about it

To me "Flight" is my favorite song on the album. When that song released i was in a difficult time. I wasn't myself. I was really stressed and annoyed. I even got knocked out one day. (I'm fine now. Don't worry) I remeber i came home from my work in the middle of the night from a night shift. And i was tired and broken. I put on my headphones to listen to this song for the first time. I even got watery eyes and emotional when i was listening to it. Especially the end when the drums comes in. That song helped me get through that difficult time. I realised i just had to let everyting go (no more hiding, no more huring etc..) Only flying. Let everything go, fly away and take a fresh start. I can listen a thousand times to this song and it's never enough. I get goosebumbs all over my body. Especially the last part of the song. Every time again. "Central Park" is a good 2nd. Close your eyes and dream away. I love that song. The chorus of "Runaways" is really strong.
