29 days, we're almost there!
For those who don't know, because there is only one iTunes for all of the US but there are multiple time zones, iTunes has to go with the East Coast people's time when putting things up (it works the same for Canada). The long and the short of it is that anyone in central or western North America actually can buy the album on iTunes late May 25th (in my case, being in Ontario, it'll be up at 11pm). So if you're counting the hours, you're likely already one down!
I haven't been this excited about a Lifehouse album since first heard of the band, I can't wait. I'm curious, how do you think each track will sound? Compared to ones that have been previously released, based strictly on the titles and things we've heard about each, I'm guessing that the closest song to each album track would be:
Hurricane - All In / Hanging By A Moment (we know it)
One for the Pain - Disarray / Bridges (upbeat rocker)
Flight - Learn You Inside Out (we know it)
Runaways - Always Somewhere Close / Whatever It Takes (melodic pop, single material)
Firing Squad - Better Luck Next Time / The Joke (more angry rocker)
Wish - All In All / Good Enough (we know it)
Stardust - If This is Goodbye (alternative pop)
Alien - Easier to Be / Falling In (more 'bubbly')
Central Park - Somewhere in Between (acoustic-based)
Hurt This Way - Where I Come From (western-tinged)
Yesterday's Son - Barricade (full-on country)
Hourglass - Aftermath (piano with big ending)
Hindsight - By Your Side (tender pop song)
You Are Not Alone - Signs of Life (more spiritual?)
Clarity - Mesmerized (soft rock, from Paper Cuts)
Après la Vie - no idea, Come Back Down?
Angeline - You and Me (acoustic with orchestra)
Exhale - All That I'm Asking For (piano soft rock)
They mentioned in the LE Package that we get an "exclusive bonus track"... could that be "LAX"? I probably jinxed it, but you heard it here first!
Those are my predictions, what do you all think? In a month's time, I'll look back on these and see how close (or far) I am. Should be interesting! I'm most looking forward to Runaways, Central Park, Hindsight, Clarity, and Exhale just for the titles themselves.
