Hello friends of many years. While we are all getting stoked about the release of Out of the Wasteland, I'm releasing my first solo album titled Ferdinand. The record was produced by Tom Drummond of the band Better Than Ezra and will be officially on sale in one week through online retailers like iTunes and Amazon. Shortly after that, the record will be available for purchase in a physical CD format. I'm hoping this goes well enough that I can press some vinyl. Time will tell though. Here's a link to my website: www.brianzilm.com I'm also on facebook, ReverbNation, Twitter and instagram.

Thanks man! Did you get my link via gmail for a download of an unmastered version? Curious what a music lover like yourself thought.

I don't think I did, I'll check my spam folder though, just in case. If you would still want to send it, try innerearmedia@gmail.com .. then I can store it properly

All you other music fans should be checking out Brian's record. It really turned out very well. Somewhere in between Stanley Climbfall-era Lifehouse, Better Than Ezra and Nada Surf, soundwise. Very turn of the century (90s/2000s) kind of stuff. You'll like it!

Thanks, man!!! Some songs are spread out on brianzilm.com The record will be available in two weeks in physical format and digital download. You'll want the physical copy though for the artwork though. It's a great concept and tells a heavy (in no way autobiographical) story

I really like On Your Way! Reminds me of Stanley Climbfall and the ST era, very well-written and well-composed tune.

Thanks brother! I fought hard for that to be a single, but I was convinced by my manager that Walls or Undertow would be the way to go. It's definitely very Stanley Climbfall. The verses are somewhat similar structure wise to Anchor and the chorus is almost a total rip off of Take Me Away. Hopefully the guys would forgive me since I've been a massive fan for 14+ years! lol

One more shameless plug, guys. The record is officially out now. Order physical copies of the album at brianzilm.com or at cdbaby.com. I promise if you decide to get the album, you'll want the physical copy. The artwork inside is beautiful and haunting at the same time. Eventually it will be perfect for a gatefold vinyl. If you're into the digital media, the album is available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
