iTunes, Amazon and Google Play all have it! (only a few countries at the moment, North America and a good chunk of Europe is left out right now) The new version of Wish is also available for immediate download, sounds surprisingly folky.

The new version of Wish is awesome!
I still wish they had picked a different song to redo but, this does sound great. This is the kind of treatment that I Want You to Know should have gotten, and hopefully if Angeline is ever released to us it's done in this same kind of way too.

Yes! It seems to be in a higher key than the original demo (not super fond of that), but otherwise I think it sounds wonderful! I agree about the redoing business, Wish has always been one of my favourites but I wouldn't have minded if they did the same sort of thing with Midnight in Philadelphia instead (Wish being my second choice). Angeline too, though being a newer song I figure it still to wait before it'll be considered a "redo".
Still hoping for Almería-style preorder packages.

And marsyc mentioned the iTunes bonus tracks in another thread, I really like their titles! "Hindsight" sounds like a typical title from the self-titled era, and "You Are Not Alone" sounds almost like something from the Tumnus project (I doubt it though). I'm guessing that the Target version of the album will have "LAX", the acoustic version of Wash that they were tinkering with, Angeline, and maybe another song off Paper Cuts.

Pre-Order packages are out! I repeat: pre-order packages are out! We start with the collectors' package ($29.99 plus tax/shipping): Limited to 3000, includes the CD with an exclusive bonus track, a set of guitar picks, four postcards (signed if you're one of the first thousand), a limited edition booklet if you order in the next two weeks (includes your name inside!), a double-sided tour map, a bandana (whoop-di-doo) and some ear plugs with a carrying case. All this comes inside a special tin case.
Next is the T-shirt bundle: ($25 with CD, $45 with collector's package). Five shirt sizes (the cover is plastered on the shrit) and an option to add the collector's package to it
Finally, if you want your house to be full of Lifehouse, there's the Ultimate Survival Kit ($78.99 without pillow, $118.99 with it, plus tax/shipping) This one has a canvas bag, aluminum bottle, an optional throw pillow featuring the winning cover art, and the collector's package.
I kinda hoped we'd get a vinyl copy of the album, but the rest is good (I like the idea of the bonus track and guitar picks!) Not happy that I had to pay $17USD for the lowest shipping option to Canada (8-24 days!!!), looks like I'll be streaming the album for a few weeks before I actually have it on my iPod

The bag, aluminum bottle, and throw blanket are all a bit gimmicky and cheap feeling to me.
A vinyl would have been awesome. Sucks to have an Almeria vinyl, but none others.

Oh, and about Wish, I didn't mean the key or whatever that he sings it in - I meant that it just has a nice and simple sound to it. Even though the strings are a little overdone in my personal opinion, the sound as a whole is still NOT overproduced. To me, I Want You to Know was an awesome live song, but fell really flat in the studio due to awkward layering and over-production.
A very simple and acoustic version of Angeline that remains true to his live version is what I am hoping for.

Ugh I wish I could just pick and choose the items. I want the blanket and cd plus bonus track... the rest I really could care less for. I don't mind throwing in extra money to show support, but I know I would never use those other things.. bah! :[
Does anyone know what type of blanket it is? Fleece or Plush? The ultimate survival package doesn't come with a t-shirt either :/

We now know what the Limited Collector's Package looks like! Take a gander: So the winning album cover design IS getting it's rightful use after all! On the limited packaging, all the special paraphernalia and throughout their promo material as well. Even on the CD itself, and the guitar picks!

The bonus tracks just will be able on pre order? Won't they be able to download or to be viewed on youtube?

I'm sure they'll get put on the same record eventually. Well, that's what they did w/ the Who We Are tracks. I think it was a digital release only.
